ζώγρει, take me alive. In 5.698 the meaning is quite different. The last syllable remains long because of the pause at the end of the first foot. Brandr. conj. “ζώγρεέ μ᾽”. The form δέξαι is doubtful; “δέξἐ”（“αι”) van L.
