[598] οἰνοχόει is applied to nectar by a slight generalisation such as is common in all languages; so 20.221 “ἵπποι βουκολέοντο”, naves aedificare, etc. (cf. the sailor's ‘in Cape Town the tops of the houses are all copper-bottomed with lead’).
