[50] Schol. A (Did.) has “ἐν τοῖς εἰκαιοτέροις “ἀθανάτοισι θεοῖσι”,” which is impossible without further alteration (“φρονέοισθα”?). Doubtless T, as often, has the correct reading, and the variant was “ἐν” for μετ᾽ with legitimate hiatus.
