“Get Yourself Noticed”
is a cool contest for graphic designers. Contestants love it because
the judges are tops in the graphic design business – so they are
able to get their work in front of some really talented and
successful people.
And
of course there are major publicity rewards for those graphic
designers who actually win! It's a chance for them to – you guessed
it! – get noticed!
On
this date in 2008, a paper-card-and-quilling project by Russian-born
artist Yulia Brodskaya won runner-up. And when she got noticed by the
world, that included me – and I have never forgotten this amazing
paper artist!
