The Spawn Grinder (Todd McFarlane Soul Grinder) Work In Progress

TJ here to share some good news and bad news on this model - The good, I am more than halfway done painting it. The bad, my dates got swapped around and I will be out to sea for the next few weeks and thus, unable to paint the model until I return (in fact, as of the time this posted, I have been gone a week). Rather than leave it a mystery. I want to share it with you as is and talk about how I approach the scheme.

Hey everyone, KrautScientist here with an absolutely fantastic army I discovered while trawling the forums in search of inspiration. This is also the best possible army for the coming Halloween season.

Minotaur Daemon Prince/ Greater Daemon Conversion Painted! My Best Work to Date!

TJ here with my best work to date: The Minotaur Daemon Prince, or Bull-God or whatever you want to call him (I don't mean minotaur Space Marines BTW). This is a conversion and a paint job I am extremely proud of and I plan to run him on the table top for the long term! I have a ton of photos posted below, so please enter with caution, those of you with slow work computers! I only have the iPhone right now for my photography and I know it can make even the best model look awful, so I just took a bunch of photos under different lights and hoped for the best, but enough excuses, let's look at this big, nasty monster!

Hi-Tech Obliterator Alternatives Painted!

TJ here with a ton of photos of my Oblits which were made from the original three Hi-Tech Miniatures Terrorizer models (now I believe there are three more additional models). These models are a lot nicer than the GW models and make great oblits. I painted them up in the same scheme as the rest of my End of Days army, so let's take a look:

Flesh Hounds for the End of Days Army!

TJ here with a unit of Flesh Hounds for my End of Days army! These guys came out a lot cooler than I thought they would when I first started building them. I did a minor amout of green stuff work to each dog and based them on Chris Vinton's special "Infected battlefield" bases. Let's take a look at the models.

Product Review: Plague Marine Alternative Legs from Kromlech's Morbid Legionaire bits!

TJ here to talk about some great alternative Plague Marine (or Possessed) legs that I picked up from Kromlech.eu. These legs come in a 6 pack (two pairs of three) and cost about $10 US. They are very detailed and in fact, I would say that these are the legs Forge World should have produced when they made their plague Marine conversion kit. There are open sores, rent armor, worms and many more small details that make for an excellent set of legs for anybody looking to make legs for Plague Marines or Possessed. I would even stretch to say you could make some zombie themed Legion of the Damned with them too (oh, now there is a hilarious idea!). Anyway, I have prepared some pics below to help you get a full visual of each set of legs in the kit.

Building Great Plague Marines from Dark Vengeance Chosen!

TJ here and tonight I want to talk about converting those Dark Vengeance Chosen that you swore you would do something with into something actually useful for your Chaos army and, since we have been talking about building a better Plague Marine lately, I want to make some Plague Marines out of my Dark Vengeance Chaos Marines. I puposefully stuck to a minimum of 3rd party bits and Green Stuff work because I wanted to show you how easy this can be and encourage a little bit of conversion out there, since I know everybody and their mother have these models on their shelf somewhere. Let's take a look at the squad I made.

Hell O'Ween: Masters of Terror, The Night Lords

The new Space Marines Codex has given my favorite power armor army new life.  Night Lords time!  Plus as an added bonus FW is going to have a direct line to my back account because of the upcoming Pre-Heresy release of Night Lords stuff.   So here is the first of the new Night Lords vehicles, my storm talon.

This is Hell O' Ween 2013, DFG's Celebration of our Favorite Time of Year!

It is no secret that the authors, friends and readers of Dark Future Games all have an obsession with the Darker Side of the hobby (some more secret than others, but they all love the dark in one way or another). Last year, we decided to celebrate that obsession with a month of posts themed toward the more evil or dark aspects of the games we play. With that being said, we will be exploring that evil side again this month for Hell O' Ween 2013, but before we officially kick things off, let's take a look at a few hits from last year:

Building a Better Plague Marine Product Review: Kromlech's Morbid Legionaries Shoulder Pads!

TJ here with a review of Kromlech's Morbid Legionaries shoulder pads. I am sorry but for some reason Blogger won't let me rotate the photos, but in any case, I want to take a good look at these things with you before I add them to my next conversions.
