Helloween: Lord Of Skulls/ Imperial Knight Kitbash: It's NOT a Kytan damn you!

Look, I already know what you are saying: "TJ shut up, bro, it's a Kytan." and you'd probably be right, which is why I am posting these blue-tac fittings to get some advice from the creative souls on the blogosphere (well, for those of us left).

Maggoth End Times 40k Conversion Ideas You can Steal!

TJ here to look at another of the Nurgle End Times models from Warhammer Fantasy from the perspective of a 40k modeller. Last time we looked at the Glottkin and while I think you will struggle to find that kind of value in the Maggoth Lord kit (or any other kit ever), I do think there are some ideas here for a skilled converter who has the desire and ability to stretch the kit out.

Glottkin in 40k: Conversion Ideas YOU Can Steal!

TJ here with a post regarding my plans for the Glottkin bros. I will do other posts for my End Times Nurgle plans, but this post is all about getting the best value for my dollar on this kit, which I will have in hand very shortly.

With no further delay, lets look at the brothers ...

Knight Fever

Hey everyone, KrautScientist here. Seeing how TJ's latest posts have been focused on Knights and similar superheavy walkers, I thought I'd ride the same wave and talk about converting Imperial Knights to Chaos.

Having worked on my own Chaos Knight conversion recently, I have put a fair bit of thought into the business of building Knights to fight for the ruinous powers -- and it would certainly make lots of sense to make you dear readers profit from the research I did for my own project, right? Thought so! Now if you would step this way, please...

Jokaero Weaponsmith Conversion

This crazy little ape is, in my opinion, one of the best units in the Grey Knights codex.  Between the utility his weapons offer and the possible upgrades they grant to their unit, Jokaero Weaponsmith's are a hidden gem.  The biggest downside to them is the terribly unimpressive model GW has to offer.  So, with a suggestion from Chris Vinton, I upgraded my Jokaero into a formidable looking techno-gorilla.

Showcase: KrautScientist's Orkheim Ultraz

Hey everyone, KrautScientist here, with another post showcasing one of my hobby projects. And while I realise that today’s post doesn’t deal with dark future gaming so much, please bear with me: With GW officially pulling the plug on the Specialist systems, I believe we can all use some specialist love... *ahem*, that came out sounding funny… Anyway, what is this about?

Building a Better Heldrake - KrautScientist's Take

Hey everyone, KrautScientist here. Today I would like to add my own two cents to the discussion about building a flyer for your Chaos Space Marine army. OST already outlined two fantastic ways to go about this task, showcasing both his amazingly disturbing "Hellworm" as well as his very cleverly kitbashed Nurglite Heldrake conversion. But what about those of us sworn to another chaos god? And is it even possible to use the actual Heldrake kit to make something cool? I would like to show you my approach to answering those questions.

Sculpting and Converting Angron, Daemon Primarch of the World Eaters!

Old School here with a sculpting project on the table: Angron, Daemon Primarch of the World Eaters Legion! I have wanted to make Angron more than any other Primarch since I first started converting models. He has always appealed to me, but it wasn't until the Ghorgon was released, that I started to look at the possibility. I began the project in earnest last night and I am sure to have a long road ahead. What you will see in this post is what a sketch is to a finished painting, so keep in mind the flat, blank armor and such (even the shape of the armor in places) will change. I plan on having Angron wearing the kind of Ornate stuff you see in the art, but let's take a look at where I am at:
