Test of Khaine Adepticon Primer Announcement

I want to take the opportunity this afternoon to help get the word out about the Test of Khaine, an annual tournament held at Evolution Games in Lansing, MI by my friend and fellow club member, SeerK AKA Josh as we know him. This year he is running the event as an Adepticon GT primer on April 13 and I have to say that he puts on a good show and Evolution has plenty of space for a huge event. With that said, I am sure some of the best players will also show up, so if you really want to test your Adepticon list and theory under the Primer Rules and FAQ, then this will be the place for people in Michigan to do it.

Forge World Pre Heresy Legion Jetbikes, Traitor Legion Pads and Etches

Old School here. I just thought I would pass along one of the more exiting things I have seen in a Forgeworld newsletter since the Contemptor release. It's called the scimitar pattern Jetbike. There are plenty more photos here so check it out.

I am hoping to have somebody pick up some of these for me at Games Day so I can mod them as traitor bikes for my Chaos Comeback Project.

Also of note are the shoulder pads and etches which will work for pre-heresy and post heresy traitor legions alike, check them out:

Dust Warfare Rumors From Gencon

Wandering around gencon I made my way back to the fantasy flight booth to ask a little bit about the models in their case.

First thing I was told was that the prices were on fact te premium prices for the models.

Second was that they are working on making the heros in the campaign boxes available for warfare players without having to buy the boxes. This is a pretty awesome thing to do because if you're not playing tactics you're buying a lot of extra you're not using. The person I talked with pointed out that they want to do something like the hero box for it. Also working on being the original characters no long available like bazooka joe. He owned the oversight of being designed and in production before warfare was thought of.

Next when I asked about the models and what to expect in play I was given some fun scraps. First for the SSU tanks they surprisingly have a transport capacity. Also they'll have a rule related to tracked vehicles.

Also the Germany tank will have a transport and has a rule about being a command vehicle.

Lastly the French are infancy with the allies. No changing of history their.

That's the rumor round up and the end of Gencon for me. Hope everyone in attendance had fun and we'll be back next year!
