Helloween: Lord Of Skulls/ Imperial Knight Kitbash: It's NOT a Kytan damn you!
Look, I already know what you are saying: "TJ shut up, bro, it's a Kytan." and you'd probably be right, which is why I am posting these blue-tac fittings to get some advice from the creative souls on the blogosphere (well, for those of us left).

Khorne Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage
More Blood. More Skulls. Can't Stop. Won't Stop! On my quest to have one of every Bloodthirster for my Khorne armies in 40k and AOS, I have finished a Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage. Let's take a look.

Uraka Forge World Khorne Daemon Prince Painted and Ready for War!
Here we go with more Khorne. I bought this Daemon Prince from my friend A-Aron who had started to paint this model before quitting Khorne. I picked him up and after years of admiring this model, finally put some paint down.

Skarbarand with Black Flesh finished Helloween 2017!
TJ here to wrap up Helloween 2017 with Skarbarand, the angriest Bloodthirster of them all! I tried out a new skin technique with this model, who was a fun challenge to paint with so many different textures and shapes! Let's take a look.

Choosing a color scheme for my Bloodbound
TJ here and I want to discuss possible color schemes for my Khorne Bloodbound army for Age of Sigmar. Initially, I wanted to lean away from things I have done before and I also actually don't enjoy the typical Khorne all-red-and-brass scheme. The first scheme that grabbed my eye was the very Black Legion style above. Honestly, It is still a strong favorite of mine. I also would be open to running this scheme and all models in the army having red skin even. Let's take a look at some of the additional ideas. BTW, these examples are from all over the web and are not my models.

Dual Wielding Berzerker: Hollywood Zerk #4
TJ here with Hollywood Berzerker number 4. Gris, the dual pistol wielding zerk is a part of the original squad I converted back in 2009 and it feels nice to get some paint on him. Let's take a look at how he turned out.

Alas Sicarius, I knew him well: Hollywood Berzerker #3
TJ here with another of my converted Zerks. This one has some massive bragging rights as he carries the helm of the Ultramarines' second company commander. I will let the reader decide whether that is Sicarius or perhaps some commander from the past. Anyway, let's take a look at the model:

Garrax, the Crimson Mist, Khorne Berzerker #1 painted
TJ here with the first painted Berzerkers for my World Eaters. Garrax is one of the eight berzerkers I made for the 8 days of Khornemas in Dec. 2009. These guys were all converted to the best of my ability at the time and with a new Khorne-specific codex, I figured I would get them painted up. Let's take a look at the first member of the squad.

Khorne Berzerker Freehand Armor for World Eaters WIP: Opinions Required!
TJ here to ask for your opinions on a paint scheme I am working on for my World Eaters. I have free handed skulls and Khorne symbols on the larger surfaces. Right now only half the model has the new paint scheme applied to the red parts of the armor and most of the details are better visible in the photos below.

GW Alternative: Affordable Nurgle, Khorne Bikers/ Jetbike from Puppetswar
TJ here to talk about some minis that interested me for two reasons: Price and potential. These Doom Bikers from Puppetswar, a company my friends and I have had some great experiences with, not only blow away the old GW bike sculpts (for Chaos players in this case in particular), but also come in cheaper than the GW plastic bikes. They also have a jet bike! Let's take a look at the bikes, their options and talk price point.

The Drawing Board: Concepts for Conversions and How I Approach a Project Initially
TJ here and you are all either going to love or hate this post because it is filled with a bunch of crappy doodle I have been making in my notebooks during the less productive moments of meetings. Now normally, I would never post anything like this, but I did get an e-mail recently that asked me how I come up with my conversions and if I just endlessly peice plastic parts together until I find the right look or if I am some kind of natural ... I don't really do either. In order to come to an idea like the angry robot above, I first hit the drawing board and see what comes out of it. Let's take a look at the process.

World Eaters Knight Titan Lord of Skulls Kitbash: Inspiration and a Plan!
TJ here. Ok, so it is no secret that I love huge conversions and evil machines/ monsters. For more than a year, I have looked at the Lord of Skulls and wished it was something else, something more. Then Imperial Knights came along and I got really excited, but figured the scale of the Lord and the Knight were off (the torso seemed way too big for the knight legs in photos ... but then I just kept getting bombarded with ideas.

My very first Obliterator...
Hey everyone, KrautScientist here. Today I would like to talk about a model that seems to have been ages in the making: I recently managed to finally complete the very first Obliterator model for my World Eaters. Now why did it take me so long? After all, it could have been as easy as picking up a box of Oblitz from my FLGS, assembling them and slapping on some paint, right? Where's the problem?
Yes, well. I have a bit of a complicated history when it comes to Obliterators. Allow me to elaborate.

Skull Cannon of Khorne Conversion Painted and Ready to Roll!
TJ here with my latest Daemon project. This time, I have a Khorne Skull Cannon conversion using the original model, a Juggernaut and some Green Stuff. When I first started this project, I honestly felt like it would bore me to death, but I have found that this has been way more fun to paint that I at first imagined.

Flesh Hounds for the End of Days Army!
TJ here with a unit of Flesh Hounds for my End of Days army! These guys came out a lot cooler than I thought they would when I first started building them. I did a minor amout of green stuff work to each dog and based them on Chris Vinton's special "Infected battlefield" bases. Let's take a look at the models.

Quo vadis, Centurions? An In-Depth Review
Hey everyone, Krautscientist here. And for the fluently Latinate among you: Yes, I realise it should probably rather say "Centurione" or "Centuriones" in the title ;) Anyway, what is this about?
With the Space Marine release now some time behind us, I thought it would be interesting to take a look at what may be one of the more divisive GW kits in recent history: the Centurions.
