Hell Blade DIY Conversion Complete, Budget Can be Beautiful

TJ here with the final construction update for the DIY Hell Talon conversion I am working on: Project Carrion Daemon. The first construction post generated a ton of conversation, so I just wanted to throw up some photos and talk a little about my choices before I cover this thing up with primer and start painting it. Let's take a walk around this odd duck.

Budget wings for DIY Hell Blade/ Talon or Heldrake: Cheap doesn't have to be flimsy or ugly!

TJ here with a budget minded tutorial on building Chaotic Wings for a Do It Yourself Hell Blade, Hell Talon or Heldrake. The size of the wings I make in this tut will be more appropriate for a Hell Talon, but can easily be trimmed down either before or after construction. I ended up making mine for a Hell Blade by modifying them.

Before we get too far, I am not a handy man. I take bad notes and those of you who may have OCD will likely dislike my ADD methods! Condider this a journey and less a tutorial if it makes you feel better.

Anyway, let's talk materials and get on with the tut.

OST put in his thoughts in a week ago on a cheap case and what wasn't included is that he and I both decided to take on the crusade to fit our ridiculously huge armies in cases on the cheap at the same time. Though I liked his findings, I needed a little more space. Heres my final analysis.

Old School here with a quick video about a Cheap and Sturdy Case I use for my army and for Hobby Time on the road. I would like to say that Youtube has been cursed it seems as it keeps shaving the first 10 seconds of the video off, but anyway, let's take a look at my Sham Wow audition!

Cheap Army Transport Trays by Menelker!

Old School Termie here,
.
We have all either seen or have been the guy who brings his models to the FLGS in a shoebox. Nothing makes me cringe more than the sound of a bunch of models grinding off each other in a box. On the flip-side, despite our best efforts, it is really hard to get that really awesome converted model into those neat little square spaces left by many other army transports ...
