10 years of Chaos bits can be yours: Metal, forge World classics and more!

TJ here to talk about an absolutely massive collection of Chaos bits. This could be yours this coming Sunday. That is right; in order to raise funds for my other hobbies ( which will include more Infinity and Wahammer Quest come September), I am letting go of 10 years worth of accumulated bits, harvested from nearly every plastic and metal Chaos Marine and Fantasy box that has come out in the last 10 years. I have travelled the country amassing these bits and all spread out, they take up a full half of my DINNER table. There are tons of unique and no-longer-available items in here that you need to see, so let's take a look:

Yellow, Rusty Necrons: Make them yours! UPDATED!

TJ here to see if anybody out there wants a great Necron army before I explore options like EBay to sell it. These yellow, rusty crons have been a good army for me and contributed to a massive tournament run for me in 6th. They have also contributed to a couple Best Painted awards whether for the models being in a Best Painted Army for a tourney or for individual models (the Destroyer Lord has won two for Best Painted at local events). Out with the Old, In with the New: Models for sale!

TJ here and with the loss of some of my models due to thieves, I am selling off some old models that haven't seen the table in a while so I can buy more models to fit my current army themes and to make room for new ideas since some of my old ideas no longer have models to support them! Anyway, this may seem like a bad thing, but cleaning out my space, getting new models and also getting some of my favorites (and not so favs) into the hands of people who would use them, is always a positive experience. Let's take a look at what is up for grabs starting later this weekend.

Sorry to post so much Ebay crap here, but in the end, I really do care that the models I sell end up in the hands of people who will do something with them, otherwise I would just leave them in the garage and the closet of doom. I, like most of you, have an army that I secretly want to buy, build and paint even though I don't have the means or the relationship capital with my wife to do it. That army for me right now is Imperial Fists. I want a full on painted, converted, fluffy Imperial Fist army with all sorts of units, so I can mix and match every game to my current whims and playing style (this is also why I chose Imperial Fists and Guard as my next charity army).

My Painted Death Wing Are Up For Grabs!

Old School here to extend an opportunity to our readers to grab a hold of one of my painted armies - The Death Wing. I have too many projects on my bench these days and I am looking at two years coming up where my play time will be constrained more than it has in the last four years. With that said, I am going to offer up the Death Wing to somebody who wants to give it a good home. I had a lot of fun with this army and had a really good run with it over the last two and a half years, with some RTT victories and painted awards, so I look at it as time well invested on my end. Let's take a look at what is up for grabs.

CVinton: Stuff for Sale!

I've never really tried to sell anything from the blog, but I'm trying to clear out some stuff that doesn't see much play from me.  Mostly IG, but I have a couple space marine things too.  I'll give it about a week up here before I put it on eBay, where I imagine it'll be more expensive. :)

A little Ebay advice...

I sold an army on ebay for a friend at the FLGS around the end of May and its come round to bite me in the ass. I want to first say though, that the guy I sold it for really stepped up to the plate and was a man about it and will cover it. That really goes a long way to someones character and gains a TON of respect from me.

I'm posting this story as tip so that hopefully 318 people read this and at least a few that are in the dark will learn what I've learned.

Short story is that I sold some Death Korps to a guy in Canada for 120$. We emailed back and forth because he kept not getting them, not getting them, ect. Finally he called paypal and found out lesson one: you have 45 days from the time you pay to open a claim. So he opened a claim through ebay (same 45 day policy). In turn I called ebay and asked what I can do to protect myself from this money getting sucked out of my bank account. And lesson two: the only way to protect yourself is with a tracking number. So, since I don't have that, I'm screwed.

The nitty gritty of the policy is that ebay sellers according to their policy MUST have insurance AND a tracking number to be protected from this. Also, for items over a certain amount of money, they require a signature for delivery to protect you. I think it was 250 USD. The seller is responsible for the item actually getting to the buyer, not just putting it in the mail. This means that if you ever buy something off of ebay, are of low moral character, and it does not have a tracking number/delivery confirmation, its free! Lesson learned by me!

Keep in mind, moral of the story: If you're selling on ebay and you don't get insurance/delivery confirmation you're giving it away.

Please sound off with other tips and advice you might have to protect yourself while selling online.

I have come into possession of quite a bit of Forge World Chaos Renegades stuff and though I really love the models, I don't think I will ever have the desire to field a Guard army.
