 Old School here to announce the winner of the DFG Banner Finals. After another three way tie with our authors picking their respective favorites, I started contacting other bloggers and associates of ours, including Meatban, The Judge and the wise Seer K ... and the scales finally tipped in one artist's favor: Fartbush.

Old School here with Tuesday's banner. This great banner from Fester was a fan favorite and is another that included a model from our prior work and naturally appealed to ly giant ego! For the next 24 hours, this banner will fly at Tue top of our blog. Thanks again Fester. Monster Monday Banner!

Old School here with another banner from the contest. Monday belong's to Daniel from Colors and Eagles This banner really strokes our egos as it included a giant Super Daemon painted by our own CVinton on comission to one of our local players (deathbringer). This banner will fly at the top of our blog for the next 24 hours just for you, Daniel. Feedback is of course welcome for this great peice of work.

Sunday Banner for the Chaplain!

Old School here to announce Sunday's banner in honor of those who participated in our contest! What better day for a banner from a Chaplain than Sunday! For the next 24 hours, The banner designed by Chaplain Aerion of Team Snake Eyes will fly at our masthead. Check out their blog, they are friends of the DFG crew and hopefully we'll get some pick-up games with them at Adepticon! Great work Aerion!

Banner Contest Update!

Old School here with a little update on the banner contest! So far we have a great group of entries and I am sure more are on the way. For a $25-$30 GW box, who wouldn't hit the photoshop on this one?

Anyway, after several requests to get pics from older posts to use in banners, I have been trying to get my personal Picasa album to switch from private to public and still haven't quite figured it out, but I plan to solve this problem by the end of the day tomorrow. In the meantime, if anyone has a suggestion, just shoot me an e-mail or a comment.

Do you want to be a part of Dark Future Games? Just want some free miniatures? Want to show off your Graphic Design Skills? Dark Future Games is now searching for a new banner and we are asking our followers for their talent!

Not long ago, we switched up our template and when that happened, the Dark Forces of Chaos snatched our banner and cast it into the uncaring galaxy. Well, we found it today and put it back up ... but it just doesn't stand as a testament to where we have come as a blog. We made this using a GW image and photoshop and while we have been proud of it for a long time, we would really love to have a new banner, crafted by one or more followers of Dark Future Games! To do this, we are hosting a contest.
