Adepticon Photos from our Friends!
TJ here with some great photos from Adepticon. Even though military commitments kept me from my favorite event, some of our friends in the Dark Future Games Facebook group posted some pics of the incredible stuff on site. First we will look at the gorgeous Crystal Brush entries, then we will take a look at some pics from the tables.

The Test Of Khaine Tournament: Missions
Well its that time again. To celebrate Craftworld Lansing's 2nd birthday I bring you the 2nd Test Of Khaine Tournament on April 14th at Evolution Games. This is an 1850 pt tournament. Painted armies are encouraged but not required. Standard force org is being used with no Forge World rules allowed. Models are if they are being used instead of standard GW models. So I present to you the missions sans the fluff so you can prepare your army. Primary Objectives are worth 30 battle points, secondary Objectives are worth 15 points and Tertiary Objectives are worth 10 points. Games are 5 turns with standard random game length rules in effect.

On Friday we did....
So Friday brought some hangovers, more drinking and for some of us, long games in the championship tournament and killzone. As the tournament started for the championships the DFG got off to a roaring start, I don’t have specifics about every game, but suffice to say The Judge, Vogrin, and CVinton went 3-0. Our good friend SeerK from Craftworld Lansing drew his first round which was a disappointment but he still felt good so he continued on. The second round however took a sickening turn, SeerK hit a mob of orks over 150 strong and fell to the green tide, and afterwards he decided to withdraw. The Judge ran across his first mass body nids and took a loss as well but stuck with it. Vogrin played a “way too similar” army and eeked out a win and CVinton won against an Eldar player but it was close as well. The next two rounds I am not to sure about, but I know that in the end our highest placing member was ranked 78th out of around 250ish players. We will take this result and work on bettering it next year and perhaps make it to the second round.
As for Old School’s Killzone results I will let him talk more about it, and if any of the guys who played in the tournaments will have to post more in detail about their experience.
Tonight I will be participating in the combat patrol, really just for fun as I don’t have a display or anything really solid in terms of a list.
Until next time, burn some heretics, kill some mutants, and do it always....

Oh the horror... oh the wonder... oh the fun; death by a lasgun.
Saturday, Seer K from Craftworld Lansing hosted a wonderful tournament at our FLGS called “The Test of Khaine” it featured some unique missions which was a greatly appreciated change of pace. The most amazing thing was the turnout with a grand total of 32 participants from all over the state of Michigan. Needless to say this is the largest singles tournament I have seen hosted outside of Adepticon.

Craftworld Lansing Celebrates its Anniversary with The Test of Khaine!
As SeerK at Crafteworld Lansing signs every post: Blood Runs, Anger Rises, Death Wakes, War Calls. And call it does! The tournament is set to be an 1850 no-nonsense tourney where the victor will be honored as a god of War (and maybe get some prizes, lol) and the best painted will also be judged! Here is a quote from SeerK on the tourney:
In celebration of the upcoming 1 year anniversary of Craftworld Lansing I have decided to host a tournament at the FLGS Evolution Games. So head over to Craftwold Lansing, locals. Follow the blog for updates and FAQs and stick around for Seerk's articles as well, I think you will enjoy his adventures in the world of silly, pointy eared, pajama wearing space-elves (some of whom may or may not do cocaine).
"The Test Of Khaine" Will be held at Evolution games in Lansing Michigan on March 19th. It will be an 1850 point tournament using the Standard force organization chart. Models do not have to be painted, but it is encouraged as I will be awarding a trophy for the best painted model as chosen by the participants. The models must be WYSIWIG. Counts as will be allowed as long as the models are the same size as what they are representing. I will be posting a FAQ as questions are asked and I flesh out the details.
Registration will be starting at 11 a.m. and Dice will start rolling slightly after noon. I will have pre registration information at the beginning of March. Please feel free to email me for questions.
