Tervigon - Arachnarock Conversion Reborn: The Original Gets a New Look!
Old School here to post up some photos of the Arachnarock Tervigon, or Tervigon Alpha with a new Hive Fleet and new paint job. A little bit of history first: About a year ago, I was able to use a combination of Ninja tricks, 007 espionage and a little Jedi mind trick to get my hands on the Arachnarock kit before it was available for purchase. With the kit in hand, I was the first to convert this monster, which I first named the Dryder Tervigon and later Tervigon Alpha, but enough history, let's take a look at this big beautiful woman-bug (does that make her a BBW-B?)

Arachnarok Tervigon Conversion Painted; Tervigon Alpha!
Old School here with the painted Arachnarok Tervigon I converted while the Arachnarok was still a Black Box item (check out the original posts here). After the exitement of building it wore off I realized I wanted to change my color scheme and my approach to painting the Nids (there are so many, I wanted to find a time-efficient way to paint them consistently, so a little less detail than I put into my usual work, but enough to be effective) - so it took me a while, but she is done. With all that said, here she is with plenty of photos ...

Converting the Arachnarok into a Tervigon Part 3: Conversion Complete!
Old School here to show off the recently finished conversion of arachnarok into a Tervigon. As you can see, I took the suggestion of many of you and utilized the spider's original mouth area as a birth canal. I also have added a few other arm options and a substitute head - all with the wonders of magnets. Let's take a walk around this beast.

Converting Arachnarok into a Tervigon: Part 2, Along came a spider!
Old School here and I am making some progress with the conversion of the Arachnarok into a Tervigon. I went with the drider concept as you can see under the influence of the commenters and the authors here. I am pretty happy so far and have a few pics to share and some questions to ask of all the skilled converters out there, so let's dive in ...

Converting Arachnarok into a Tervigon: Part 1 (Project Dryder)
Old School here and through the wonders of time-travel, DFG has possession of an Arachnarok (the huge spider from Fantasy) and I am hard at work turning this beauty into a Tervigon! I have literally just begun the process and have taken some photos of the actual Arachnarok sprue and have some questions for the readers to help guide me in this process.
