An Interview with Black Library Author Mike Lee

Old School here with another entry to our interview series. This time, we are very excited to bring you Mike Lee. We were lucky enough to be able to interview Black Library Author, Mike Lee during the Dropzone Games Grand Opening in Glen Burnie, MD. We had a great time and really just shot the breeze about stuff we love - from wargaming to the Heresy Series, RPGs and Horror.

For those of you who don’t know about Mike, he is best known for the Chronicles of Malus Darkblade and the Time of Legends; Nagash series. He also wrote Fallen Angels from the Horus Heresy series and has also worked as a game designer for White Wolf Publishing’s Demon: The Fallen. With no further delay, let’s get into this interview, but before we start I really have to give it up to Mike Lee for going so in depth with us. This was a great interview and really blew my expectations away ... if only everything was publishable!

Interview: Andy Chambers and Dan Sprietzer on DUST, Black Library and Blood Red Skies!

During our coverage of the Dropzone Games Grand Opening, Wolfson, our East Coast Team Manager, got the chance to sit down for lunch with Andy Chambers (Freelance writer/Developer) and Dan Sprietzer (President of Dropzone Games). Needless to say, the interview and post interview were a little surreal! For those of you who don't know Andy or Dan, I have provided their backgrounds at the bottom of the interview. Enjoy.

DUST Warfare: An interview with Paolo Parente, Introducing DUST Chronicles

Old School here with a little something different. Since DUST Tactics first came out, I have had an eye for their crazy walking tanks and Pulp WWII background. When DUST Warfare came out and was being shown at Adepticon, I was skeptical, but very interested given the scale of the models and the opportunities I saw for painting great looking vehicles.

This Summer, I spent some time in Maryland and saw a lot of people playing DUST Warfare at Dropzone Games and finally, I decided to make this my next game system. I have been slowly getting involved with it since, but I found some folks at DUST Chronicles who have already taken it to the next level and created a magazine for the community. Here is an interview they featured in the first issue with Paolo Parente, which gives some great insight into the man who created the game and where the game may be heading.
