It Came From the Forums: Eldar Corsair's with Beautiful Freehand and Colors!
TJ, AKA Old School Terminator to our more venerable followers, here with an It Came From the Forums. This edition brings us a very colorful, very cool freehand-heavy Eldar Corsair army (dark/light meat)that I applaud not only for its incredible freehand art, but also for the bold color choices that fly in the face of most conventional armies. This badass sword is only the beginning. Let's take a look:

Wolfson Survived Iron Painter
Hello everyone Wolfson here to let you know that I not only survived the Apocalypse but more importantly survived Iron painter and won that awesome trophy you see above. The Iron painter was hosted at Dropzone games in Glen Burnie Maryland from 12pm friday the 21st to 12pm friday the 22nd. The crew spent 24 Hours straight painting, gaming and holding off any craziness the Apocalypse could throw at us including zombies. We did have some rules to keep things civil during this event. You could enter in one of three categories with a cold hearted 4th category that i will explain in a second. The cetgories were based on model count and consisted of small medium and large. The catch however is none of the models can start painted besides a base coat and some people even built and converted models before starting and had to be a playable force for whatever game system you were painting. Small was 10 to 19, Medium 20 to 29 and Large was everything else.

It Came From The Forums: Mechanicum Jon's Dark Eldar!
Old School here with another edition of the original It Came From the Forums! Yes this series has been imitated but never duplicated and I am glad to bring you a great looking Xenos army: Mechanicum Jon's Dark Eldar! This army has an amazing color pallet and really presents an army with both dark and gritty elements and bright, flashy paint schemes. This is really Dark Eldar at its finest and I am very excited to see what I think is the best GW plastic line of miniatures painted to such an incredible standard by a very talented artist. Let's take a look at the units!

His conversions and paint jobs always amaze me and the DEldar alliance are nothing if not creepy!

Video Battle Report - Destroyer Cult of the Red Harvest vs. Dark Mechdar
Hello Everyone,
General Chaos here with another Video Battle Report. Tonight we got my Necron - Destroyer Cult of the Red Harvest vs. Jon's Dark Mechdar. We played at 1850, the mission was Relic, and the deployment was Vanguard Strike. Jon wanted to see how the Dark Eldar are doing in 6th edition.
Some positive findings -
Mass splinter fire is really good. Warriors squads got much better. 10 man Scourges units with Shard Carbines and 4 Splinter Cannons can dump out some firepower.
Razorwings are deadly good anti-tank and anti-infantry fliers.
Don't really need Flicker fields now.
Some negative findings -
The Raiders more resistant to glances but if you get a AP 1 or AP 2 to hit into them they go down really easy by getting plus 2 or 3 on the damage table.
Unit inside open-topped transports taking strength 4 hits on an explosion result, instead of strength 3 for being open-topped in 5th edition, you will lose some of those toughness 3 models.
Overwatch is very unkind to lightly armoured assault units.
+5 Feel No Pain is a big downside when most weapons can cut right thru your spandex leotards.
Jon is planning on focusing on the Dark Eldar and adding in some Psychic powers with some allied Farseers. Personally, I think Dark Eldar will be a real threat on the tournament scene.
Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching.

The Grotesque Files: Subjects #5 and #6, The Poker and the Grabber
Old School here with two more subjects from the laboratories of the Kabal of the Obsidian Rose. I snatched these two Grotesques from Wolfson after he primed them so I could get this photo to you all! Today's Subjects are the Poker (on the left) and the Grabber! Both are based off of the Isle of Blood Rat Ogre kit. The Poker

The Grotesque Files: Subject #4, The Lasher!

The Grotesque Files: Subject 3, The Tickler!
The third subject in our line of mutants from the lab is the Licker. This sick bastard is made from a minotaur primarily with a little twist

The Grotesque Files: Subject #2, The Squirter!
The next Grotesque subject from the labs of the Kabal of the Obsidian Rose has been called the Squirter by the Haemonculus (OST). This is the second model I have made for Wolfson's Dark Eldar Foot list. I wanted to make his liquifier armed Grotesque a little less bestial than some of the rat ogre and minotaur based models you will see over the next couple of days.

The Grotesque Files, Subject #1, The Ripper!
Old School here to kick off a series of posts on the Grotesque squad I have been converting for Wolfson's Dark Footdar army. The grotesque unit is a centerpiece of the web way portal delivery system and therefore, a center peice for the army as a whole. Wolfson has done a lot for me hobby-wise, so I wanted to give back by making his grotesques.
