TJ here with a quick post to show off some Space Wolf Primaris Hellblaster conversions I did on commission for a friend. It was fun and quick and I think it did the trick!

13th Company Space Wolves.
After almost a year from really painting anything I loved, I found my passion again. The 13th company is my true love after my childhood love of the ultramarine bikes. For the past year I've bounced around from one-night-stand codex releases to 3 month flings, never filling that void in my heart that the abandoned 13th company left. They're the girl that got away that I'm not letting get away.

Chucks Space Viking Bits Box Army
Hello Everyone Chuck here AKA Wolfson with a quick photo dump of some things I have been working on lately. I usually post about Eldar of the dark and light variety but TJ has been talking to me lately about building an army entirely out of my bitz box! I mostly own eldar and dark eldar bitz but I am an avid fantasy player and have owned a few large armies over the years and will be pulling from the full range of chaos bitz including beastman as well as some vampire counts and dwarven stuff. I also have some space wolf stuff just collecting dust and was recently given some more space wolf stuff when we were running the idea for this army by a friend of mine in MD. (Thanks Pete!)
Well lets take a look shall we!

It Came From the Forums: Metal Beast Mercenaries, Conversion Army!
Old School here with another It Came From the Forums. In this edition, we will look at Mayajid's Metal Beast Mercenaries, an army I would say is made as much of green stuff as it is of plastic. It is an army of Beastmen set in the 40k universe, but this is so much more than another Space Goats army, this is something else and it really is one of my favorite army themes and one hell of a lot of work! Let's take a look:

A Blog of Note: Drowned in Plastic, Tutorials and Amazing Paint!
Old School here with another installment of Blogs of Note. Every once in a while I find a blog that is so awesome, so great in terms of hobby that it must be recommended to our readers. Drowned in Plastic is a young blog by an experienced player and hobbyist named Brandon Griffith who not only shares his amazing art, but also plenty of tutorials and guides to the kinds of paint he uses. Let's take a look at some of his work.

Space Wolves in 6th Edition
CVinton to talk about some space wolves. 6th Edition has settled in and the rules are becoming more natural, so its time to figure out what it all means. And most importantly, what it means the the Vlka Fenryka.

DFG Community Top Posts of the Week! Seven Posts You Should See!
Old School here with the latest featured article. The DFG Network Posts of the Week is a weekly feature where we will feature things that the DFG Team (Authors and non-authors) have pointed out as great posts from blogs in our network. Not only does this help support our Network Members, but it also allows the 1.5k+ visitors we get daily to find inspiration for our next project. This week is very Chaos oriented. The reason for this is that this humble blog started with a Chaos Space Marine army and one man. It has grown so much bigger than one man or one army. This first week is a tribute. So without any more yammering from me, let's look at the first seven Post of the Week!

13th Company Werewolf Thunderwolves Return!
So after OST called me out about buying the new thunderwolves when they came out I half listened. Then he said it again after 6th dropped when I mentioned that I was going to try out Twolves again and it sunk in. The Twolves I converted a long time ago are too awesome to sit half done and unpainted. So I got to it and finished most of the squad.

6th Ed Video Battle Report - Destroyer Cult of the Red Harvest vs. Space Wolves
Hello Everyone,
General Chaos here with another Video Battle Report. This was a 1850 point game between my Necrons and Jon's Space Wolves. I was revisiting the Destroyer Wing to see how it stands up in the 6th edition and the results are promising. There are couple things going for this list now in 6th edition. Preferred enemy now lets your re-roll ones in the Assault phase and the Shooting phase for both to hit and to wound. This makes Destroyers really good at taking down MEQ. Necrons warriors are the ultimate anti-tank units now. Destroyer Lords can join a unit and pass on the preferred enemy rule to the whole unit. Add in the Triarch stalkers targeting array and you can put down some serious firepower. Here are the lists we used. One mistake right off the bat was the Space Wolf Rune Priest took powers from the wrong discipline but it wasn't game changing. Here are the lists we used and the link below. Thanks for watching.
1850 Pts - Necrons Roster - Destroyer Cult of the Red Harvest

6th Edition Video Battle Report - Orks vs. Space Wolves
Hello Everyone,
General Chaos here with another Video Battle Report. This was a 1500 point battle between my Orks and Jon's Space Wolves. This was my first game using the 6th edition rule set so if we get somethings wrong I apologize in advance. Jon took his standard Wolves list while I took a little bit of everything to test out the new rules. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching.

Video Battle Report - Spearhead Orks vs. Space Wolves
Hello Everyone,
General Chaos here with another video battle report. This time we are playing with the Spearhead expansion rules. It was 1850 points with my Orks verses Jon's Space Wolves. I got to dust off the Stompa for some super-heavy walker fun. Thanks for watching.

Thunder Punch; The After Glow
Sorry.
I want to start by saying that. I'm not being funny or gloating. There was nothing to gloat about today. I thought this list would be fun and get some laughs but it resulted in neither. On top of that, it just sucked battle points from people and generated a lot of ties. So, because of that I wholeheartedly apologize to anyone that I played and anyone that has ever had to play against anyone with a list like this.

Thunder Punch! (with a look at the FW skin wolf model!)
I finished the Thunder Wolves I plan on running today in the tournament at Titan's. I'm really torn this weekend between an effective Necrons list....and this silly list. The missions really make me an auto lose but I think its a rare opportunity that I would get to play this list and for people to play against this list.

New Space Wolf Thunder Wolves and Wolf Lord Model Review!
So GW finally released a thunder wolf kit. Day late and a dollar short, but as a lover of all things space wolves, I had to get some. Since everyone already has their wolves from 3rd party companies I imagine the popularity of the kit is low. I'll put it out there though, that even though I already have some wolves, I'll be using the GW ones. Its a super cool kit and to cut right to the meat of this, I'd recommend picking a box or two up.

Making a Portable Snow Table: Out With the Old, In With the New!
CVinton's New Table for the Wolves
I love to have a table at my house. Though it doesn't get much use, I feel its my home field as completes my hobby side of the game. Evolution has, at best, game store quality terrain (funny enough, I made most of it). I feel like if I invite someone to my house for a game, I'm hosting their game experience and just as a host offers a guest the best amenities they can, I too feel this is the attitude for the 'Home Game'.
Thus I present:

13th Company Fenrisian Wolves
13th Company have gathered up some Fenrisian wolves.... I got a good deal on 30 of the old metal chaos warhounds. For the most part they're wolf enough that I couldn't pass it up. Plus, being 13th company the touch of chaos is acceptable to the design. They look like they've been in the warp for a while. I only painted a portion because I was intending to run one full squad of 15 and then be able to outfit 2 IC's with 2 wolves.

13th Company Wolfguard, special weapons and wolf standard.
13th Company Update
I finished up some special weapons and wolfguard in my spare time over the holidays and thought our readers would enjoy some pictures of the progress. I'm pretty stoked because my hobby ADHD usually has kicked in by now and I've moved on to another army, but these wolves still have my heart.
