13th Company Space Wolves.

After almost a year from really painting anything I loved, I found my passion again.  The 13th company is my true love after my childhood love of the ultramarine bikes.  For the past year I've bounced around from one-night-stand codex releases to 3 month flings, never filling that void in my heart that the abandoned 13th company left.  They're the girl that got away that I'm not letting get away.

13th Company Werewolf Thunderwolves Return!

So after OST called me out about buying the new thunderwolves when they came out I half listened.  Then he said it again after 6th dropped when I mentioned that I was going to try out Twolves again and it sunk in.  The Twolves I converted a long time ago are too awesome to sit half done and unpainted.  So I got to it and finished most of the squad.  

13th Company Contemptor #2

Some more 13th company got finished up last night.   I'm really pushing to have a full compliment of painted for the massacre tournament.  

13th Company Fenrisian Wolves

13th Company have gathered up some Fenrisian wolves....  I got a good deal on 30 of the old metal chaos warhounds.  For the most part they're wolf enough that I couldn't pass it up.  Plus, being 13th company the touch of chaos is acceptable to the design.  They look like they've been in the warp for a while.  I only painted a portion because I was intending to run one full squad of 15 and then be able to outfit 2 IC's with 2 wolves.

13th Company Grey Hunters Complete!

Over the holidays I wasn't able to get much hobby time in, but now that the schedule is cleared up, its was time to put the brush to to some minis.  I finished up the core of the wolves and so here they are.

13th Company Update

I finished up some special weapons and wolfguard in my spare time over the holidays and thought our readers would enjoy some pictures of the progress.  I'm pretty stoked because my hobby ADHD usually has kicked in by now and I've moved on to another army, but these wolves still have my heart.

13th Company Rhino and Razorback

Continuing work on the 13th, I rushed out a rhino and razorback trying to at the very least field fully painted vehicles.  Didn't meet the goal, but I got close.  The other two just need the weathering and I would have made it.

13th company Thunder Wolves WIP 5 (With one finished one)

OST got me a no reason semi-present in the form of yet another demon prince so I'm making number 5 for the thunderwolf pack.  I'd ultimately like to just replace the first one.  His pose is so static compared to the rest of the pack that he no longer fits.  The aging alpha male, replaced by this bad SoB.  Poor guy...Oh, also, jump for a finished model.

I've finished all the GS work and can now start in on the paint (and finish the paint on the first one).  Not much to say, so enjoy the final scuplt WIP.

Update on the Thunderwolves.  They're almost done.  I ordered some chaos warhounds to chop up for the heads and then I'll be finished up with the four.  I might end up making one or two more, but for now I think I'm set.

Finished doing the GS work on the second one today.  After giving the first one the hobby shop test, I found it was a pretty boring stance.  So, I went more dynamic with the new one.
