When a woman in Indianapolis who’d been feeding a stray dog came home to quite the shocking sight, she had a moment of panic. But luckily, she had the right mind to think of the Indianapolis Fire Department before taking drastic measures into her own hands…
This is Jimma, the stray pit that the woman had been caring for.
The poor dog had gotten herself stuck in a tire, and no amount of soap or oil could jimmy her free.
Luckily, the firefighters were ready to put in a good day’s work to get her loose.
They were sure to give her time to calm down if she got a bit upset, and showed her lots of love during the process.
After realizing that good old elbow grease wasn’t enough…the team called in professionals with tools appropriate for the job.
Making sure she felt as comfortable as possible the whole way through.
The best part of all? Jimma went home with the woman who brought her in…
She finally found her forever home, even though it was through drastic measures.
