NEW PAINTING Smoke

"Smoke," 24" in diameter x 1"deep, acrylic on cradled wood panel. Smoke will be $1800 plus s&h when available.   Reach out to me   if you are interested, as I am in the process of putting together a special first dibs program for my collectors both old and new. where there's smoke, there's fire and this mare has a fire in her heart. I am thinking about the edges of ambiguity or opposing ideas. For instance today is summer solstice, a definitive line between how we measure our daylight hours. But what about those things that don't have such obvious stopping points, like summer into fall? or stillness into a gentle breeze? or smoke vs fire? where are those edges, and what do they look like? and then, once I figure that part out, how can I paint them? Thanks so much for your interest in my artwork - and for supporting me in my journey, warmly, Kim

NEW PAINTING Fire Water Air Earth

"Fire Water Air Earth," 24"x30", acrylic mixed media on flat panel. She will be available at a future date, alongside her fellow momma bear paintings. I welcome inquiries - they may always come   to me . i've been learning all about clouds and other sorts of sky vocabulary as possible titles for this painting  because at first I thought she was emerging from a dark night. I have signed 3 emotionally demanding paintings this week, with others in process. Time to rest and savor what next week promises. I have a feeling t'll be more bears. I have plenty of anger and other emotions to work through before they can go. Hug your little - and big - ones, warmly, Kim PS You heard right - there is a pop-up studio sale next week. It'll be on my website, Friday, June 10th at noon, and it will feature rabbit paintings!! Details to c...
