Blowing bubbles card with Annemarijn

Hi crafty friends! I'm back on the blog with two cute slimline cards using paperie ink stamps . It's the last blog 4 months where going crazy fast. Time flies when you have fun! Thanks Vanessa for this great opportunity and I loved making cards and blogpost for your amazing shop. First I started cut a slimline cardbase with the slim card basics from mama elephant  using the smallest die from the set. For the bubble background I used the bubble background stencil from lawn fawn with distress oxide in the color tumbled glass  (for the landscape one I also used white ink for the bubbles). Next I stamped the images from the stamp set and colored them with my copic markers . I also cut some grass with the grassy border from green cardstock.  Next I adhered everything together and stamped the sentiments. I also stamped some exploding bubbles from bubbles of joy because I think that's a cute effect. Have a great and crafty week! Lots of love, Annemarijn

Bloom and grow card with Annemarijn

Hi crafty friends! How are you today? Today I'm back on the blog using the bloom and grow stamp set from hello bluebird because I really love it. Let me tell you how I made this cute card. I first stamped all images from the bloom and grow stamp set and colored them with my copic sketch markers and cut them. The fox watering plants is my favorite image of this set I mean look at him he's just so cute. Next I colored the background with distress oxide: salvaged patina (my new obsession!!) on the top and speckled egg on the bottom. For the grass I used cracked pistachio and for the tree gathered twigs . The tree I cut from the lift the flap tree backdrop from lawn fawn and for the grass I used the simple grassy hillside . On the background I stamped the sentiment from this set with embossing ink , sprinkled black embossing powder and heat set it with my heat tool. I love the sentiment from this stamp set it's a beautiful sentiment I think! Next I adhered everything t

Skype in the jungle reveal wheel card with Annemarijn

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm back on the blog with a card. The story is a bit crazy but did you know that critters in the jungle also use Skype to talk to their friends? I didn't until I made this card and now you know too! :) My boyfriend thinks I have too much fantasy but can you really have to much of that?! Let me tell you how I made this skype in the jungle reveal wheel card. I first stamped the images from toucan do it  and virtual friends on white copic friendly paper and colored them with copic markers . Next I cut the reveal wheel  with the reveal wheel rectangle window add-on from white cardstock.  Next I inked up the background with some cute distress oxides and blended it with blender brushes for a smooth blend. The colors I used from top to bottom are peacock feathers , salvaged patina and speckled egg . Next I adhered the reveal wheel together and put all the cute stamps on the front of the card.  Last I adhered the card on a colored paper from the watercolor

You did it card with Leontine

Hello! I only have one week of school left, so I thought it was fitting to make a card about finishing the school year. As some of you might know I’m a first grade teacher, so I had to have some books on the card as well. I used some amazing products from Mama Elephant to create a super sweet and happy scene. I’ll take you through the steps. First I cut a panel of white cardstock with the Cloud Nine dies. I also cut the hooray sentiment from Hooray Wishes out of that same white cardstock twice and glued them together. Then I used Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink and Kitsch flamingo to create a sweet pink wall with the Brick Stencil from Lawn Fawn. While that was drying I used Jet Black ink to stamp the images on some copic friendly paper and used the matching dies to cut them out. The images and sentiments I used are from Hooray Wishes , Book Worm and Comic Sayings . I colored my images with the following Copic Sketch Markers: R20, R22, RV04, RV10, RV13, RV21, YG01, YG06, YG0
