Sunshine & Rainbows!

Well hello there! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a card that makes me happy! So hopefully it makes you happy, too! lol I used a combination of Paper Smooches stamps for my card: Loving it! Ha! I started by stamping my images and then coloring them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! that addable sun and some of the clouds are from the Sunnyville Stamp Set  and the rainbow and other clouds are from the Sepctrum Stamp Set! These work so well together!  Once they were all dry, I fussy cut them out and added foam tape behind the sun for dimension! I also added some Glossy Accents to the glasses, because all glasses need glossy accents! ha!! Its the perfect amount of shine! For the background, I used a dry brush and some Black Gesso , it's amazing!! That Gesso goes on so smooth and the texture once it is dry is so lovely! I am in LOVE and want buckets of it! ha! Hello! It's Ali here from alilovescardmaking ( Youtube / Instagam ), joining you for my first Butterfly Relections Ink post! So excited to be here along side some super talented crafters and to share some of my cards with you! Hope you enjoy them and find some inspiration here and there :-). Christmas and New Year went by with a flash didn't they? Time to start thinking about making cards for the next calendar event - Valentines Day!  I thought I'd try and come up with a card for the special man in my life - don't know about you but I find 'masculine' cards the most difficult!!  But this set from Altenew, To The Moon, is the solution! With the revival of the look of Alcohol Inks in mind, I pulled out some Copics (B29, B24) and Rubbing Alcohol and created this quick background on glossy photo paper. Once dry, I darkened the outer edges with Distress Oxide Black Soot .  I then splattered some white gesso over the background piece with a water brush and s
