As the fall season gets further underway, the time for Thanksgiving fast approaches. Karen B. here from The Bald Dragonfly , and I was inspired by the colors that Autumn brings and the time of reflection of the upcoming holiday. I started my card by distress ink blending some orange and red hues onto Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock . This paper was meant for heaving inking of the distress inks, and helps blend the inks with ease. I added some texture by splattering some water onto the panel and picking up the ink with a paper towel. The next step was to die cut a number of birch trees from My Favorite Thing's Birch Tree Die-namics from white cardstock and adhered them to the colored panel with Tombo Mono Adhesive and the center tree with dimensional adhesive .
