It's Your Birthday!

Hi everyone! It's Cassie, back to share another card with you. I saw the adorable set by Avery Elle called Birthday Paw-ty , and I knew I had to make my next card with it. These cute animal images make the sweetest birthday card!  I stamped out most of the images from the set and colored them in with my Copic markers. I went with soft pastel colors and neutrals for the color scheme. Each image was fussy cut out with some detail scissors and given white gel pen accents. I die cut a stitched s calloped circle from Lawn Fawn for the background of this party. For my card base I splattered Picked Raspberry , Salty Ocean and Wild Honey Distress Oxide inks over an A2 piece of white cardstock. I started putting the pieces together using a liquid glue so that I had time to move things if necessary. The sentiment was heat embossed onto Sage Leaf cardstock by Lawn Fawn and adhered with some foam tape to the card. And that finished it! I hope you liked the card for today. I love these cu

Scent with Love BRI Moodboard inspiration

Hello crafty friends! Davina here, with some January BRI Moodboard color inspiration. Today I’m sharing a shaker card that combines several newer, and older, sets by Lawn Fawn. I’ve been making many more shaker cards than I ever have before, and each has been a different kind/style. I really love the flat mesh ones that I’ve shared, but today, I kept it classic. The colors in this months Moodboard are spun sugar, mauve, butterscotch, and marine blue. I incorporated these colors by creating a skunk filled scene with lots of Valentine’s Day images. I started by making my snow globe shaker. The new dies are huge, so I dig deep into my stash, and found my  Ready Set Snow  stamps and dies from years ago. It was the perfect size for a little mail man skunk and some goodies. I stamped out images from  Scent with Love  ,  Scent with Love Add on  and last years  Special Delivery sets, then colored everything up before die cutting with the coordinating dies.  I inkblended the background piece of

The Cutest Snowmen Ever!

Art Impressions Chubby Snowmen is one of my favorite snowman stamp sets! Kelly here and I'm excited to show you this card. To start off I took a strip of masking tape and sectioned off the bottom half of my panel which is 110lb Neenah cardstock.  I cut a freestyle mask for the ground as well. I used distress oxide inks in colors Chipped Sapphire & Blueprint sketch for the bottom. I splattered a bit of water for interest. The top half of my panel I masked off in the middle vertically and I used faded jeans on the left and hickory smoke on the right. I added water splatter to these sections as well then I cut a thin piece of Holographic cardstock and glued it down on the trimmed borders.  While that dried I stamped the images onto 110lb Neenah and colored them with copics. I stamped my Sentiment with Versamark and added white super fine Embossing  powder and heated it.  I propped my images up on foam for dimension and adhered them to my panel. I added

Chubby Snowmen Slimline Card

Hi guys! Kelly here. Im so excited to show you this slimline card I made using Art Impressions Chubby Snowmen Stamp/die set.  I started off with a 4"x9" 110lb Neenah Cardstock panel. I die cut a small circle mask and freestyle cut a ground mask & started blending Distress inks using finger daubers. I used Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry into Faded Jeans, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and a bit of Black Soot around the edges. While I let that dry I stamped my images onto the same cardstock.  I colored them with Copics and die cut them out.  The set comes with 3 Snowmen and a sweet lil bunny. I only used 2 so I added the 3rd on the inside.  I die cut a black mat from PinkFresh Studio Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die and mounted that onto my white slimline card base. Put it aside & I took my inked panel and added white paint splatter, let dry. I then removed the moon mask and the ground mask and trimmed it down a bit small

Smiley S'more Slider with Leontine

Hello! Today I wanted to share a slider card with the adorable Smiley S’more from the new Lawn Fawn summer release. I don’t own a die to create the slider for me, so I got creative and made my own mechanism. First I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the largest outside in stitched rectangle stackables . Then I placed the second largest small rectangle stackbles die in the center. I didn’t want to cut it all the way, so I made sure to keep the top sticking out from my cutting plates. Once that was done, I got a mini score board to score just the flap at 3/8, at 1 7/8 and at 3 3/4 inches. With my bone folder I creased those folds. I also needed to create a piece that would pull the slider up. I cut a piece of white cardstock at 3 1/4 by 4 5/8 inch. I rounded the top corners with a corner punch . To create a notch at the top of my card I used the let’s toast pull tab add-on set. I also used it for a little arrow to go on the top. Now that the mechanism was done it was time t
