Altenew 8th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 3 + Giveaway (over $2,000 in Total Prizes)

Hello, folks! Welcome! You should have arrived from Michelle Short's blog ! My name is Jennifer Ingle, also known as Just Jingle , I am super duper excited to be a visiting designer here at Butterfly Reflections Ink today! I am a HUGE fan of BRI and an even bigger fan of Vanessa! And we have some FUN stuff for you! The crew over at Altenew is celebrating their 8th anniversary with a HUGE party! There are LOTS of amazing companies and designers participating in the blog hop each day, so be sure to check it out! I pulled out the absolutely fabulous Here for You stamp set for my card today. I began by die cutting a simple circle to create the front of the card. I stamped the floral image three times, with a bit of masking along the way to frame what would become my shaker. I then colored the flowers and leaves of the stamped images, stamped them again on another sheet of white cardstock, colored the flowers, and fussy cut them before popping them up on some foam tape to give this o

You've Been On My Mind

Hello there! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a card I created for my Grandma's birthday! I was inspired by the March Mood Board ! Love these colors, and these images are just so FUN! For my card, I used the cutest floral images from Avery Elle : Sending Hugs and Sending Flowers ! And let me tell you, it was a struggle not to use those cute critters!! But I stuck solely with the flowers and I really like how pretty it came out! I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them all out! I popped some of the flowers up with foam tape , to add dimension!   I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto some vellum ! Then I die cut the vellum strip with the Fancy Wavy Banners Die from Lawn Fawn! I sprinkled some warm yellow sequins around the envelope too! And I can't forget, for the background, I used a strip of the super awesome Dotted Washi Tape from Altenew ! Hope you play along with the BRI Mood

Thank You

Hi crafty friends, Julianne here sharing a HUGE thank you card that I made for Vanessa. I have had so much fun designing for Butterfly Reflections, Ink these passed couple months and I am truly blessed to have had this opportunity. I hope that you found inspiration in my posts over the past couple months from not only me but the other amazing design team members. For my card today I used Altenew Hope Stamp Set and the Altenew Build-a-Flower: Chrysanthemum Stamp , I have never used a layering stamp set before but I loved the results.  If you haven't tried these stamps before from any company, I would definitely say try. The results are just beautiful and not having to color was AMAZING! I used a bunch of different Catherine Pooler Inks for my card, a list is below: Limoncello , Tiara , Tiki Torch , Orange Twist , Sweet Sixteen , Pixie Dust , Flirty Fuchsia , Grape Crush ,  It's a Girl , Be Mine , Party Dress , Samba , It's a Boy , Something Borrowed , All That Jazz ,

Welcome

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Julianne here bringing you some welcome/thank you cards. I created these cards using some older Altenew products and giving them new life. I love digging into my older stamps and creating something new with them. The stamps I decided on using where the Altenew Neighborhood Stamp Set  as well as the Altenew Leafy Wreath Die . I started out by using the Leafty Wreath Die to die cut a variety of different card stocks (two shades of green, vellum, and some gold glitter card stock). I wanted my wreaths to look really full, depending on the look you are going for you could die cut less or even more. The trick to making the wreath look really full is adhering it different each time, making sure that you are moving the leaves around so that they are in different places. Once I had all the wreaths ready to go it was time to start working on my background, cutting down some white card stock just under an A2 size. I figured out where I wanted my wreath to be on

Happy Galentine's Day - MFT

Good Morning crafty friends! Danielle here up on the BRI blog with a fun Valentine's Day card for you best crafty girl friend featuring the My Favorite Things recent February release! I was so excited to see this month's mood board for February because I just adored the soft colors.  I wanted to create a Valentine's Day card for a friend in non traditional Valentine's Day colors.  I started off ink blending my panel using Distress Oxides in Scattered Straw , Milled Lavender , and Weathered Wood.  Once I was done ink blending, I used the My Favorite Things Lots of Hearts Stencil and applied Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste over the stencil onto my ink blended panel.  To say that I am obsessed with this glimmer paste is an understatement! It creates such beautiful shimmer over any color it is applied to! It is a must have!!  Once dried, I used the My Favorite Things Die-Namics Heart Trio Shaker Window die and ran it through my die cutting machine twice to make

New Year's Card

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's Dana here from Dana G.Crafts and I'm sharing New Year card with you today. To begin, I stamped critters and bicycle images from Neat & Tangled Ride With ME Stamp Set using MFT Extreme Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers and added highlight with White Gel Pen. For background, I ink blended A2 sized white card stock using Abandoned Coral and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide Ink with clean water here and there and let it dried. I then stamped only '2019' image from Altenew 2019 Stamp Set and stamped another sentiment from Neat & Tangled Ride With Me Stamp Set.  Next, I embellished 2019 numbers with Studio Katia crystals using Multi Medium Matte. I used July Crystals, October Crystals and Sparkling Crystals. To finish off, I foam mounted colored images as shown in the picture. Hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you so much for join

Festive Poinsettia - One Layer cards

Hi friends!   It's Jacquie and I'm excited to be guesting here on the blog today...just a little over a week before Christmas!  If you're like me, cards are coming in the mail from people that maybe I did not expect a card from, and they were not on my original list.  What to do?  I whip up a few quick cards, that's what! These cards are SUPER easy...one layer, one stamp set, no fussy anything...just some coloring. I stamped the pretty floral images from Altenew Festive Poinsettias on some white card stock, using some Gina K Designs Amalgam ink . And then I colored them with my Copic markers. On the darker card, well, I have a confession...I had a little mark on there, so instead of tossing it, I decided to color the entire background.  And I love how that turned out. That's all...I told you it was super easy! Have a great week and holiday! Peace, Jacquie
