Have a Cool Birthday with Avery Elle

Hi Friends! Sophie here and I'm thrilled to be back guesting for the BRI blog and today I have a super fun summery card to share with you featuring some goodies from Avery Elle!  I used the Sweet Day Stamps and Dies as the star of the show for this cute ice cream scene. I also used the Avery Elle Slimline Borders dies to create the road and grassy hillside.  I used Lawn Fawn inks for the blending in Freshly Cut Grass , Narwhal , and Merman . I also used the Lawn Fawn Slim Cloudy Stencil for those rolling clouds!  I hope you feel inspired to make fun summery cards! See you next time! :)

Rawrsome Birthday Card by Sara

Hi BRI friends, Sara here! I am back with a new card, inspired by the May BRI Mood Board Challenge . I’ve fallen in love with this color palette since I saw it and this is my inspiration! I’ve used a bunch of Mama Elephant products and I really love how it turned out. Those dinos are simply the cutest! I used the mood board of the month , including linen, teal, fuchsia and coral, and I tried to use lighter colors for the background. When I finished to color the dinos, I fussy cut them (well, if you have coordinating dies it is surely faster!) and arranged them on my scene. I realized that they didn’t pop against the background which was a ...

Just Wanted To Say... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Hello, crafty friends! Welcome! It's Leeds from Leeds Craftroom here and today I'm sharing a cute and fun Lawn Fawn Birthday card, here are the steps:  Step 1: Stamp all the images from Lawn Fawn Critters in The Jungle, Year Seven , Elphie Selfie , and Critters on The Savanna. Step 2: Color each image using Copic Markers. I also added a few highlights using white gel pen. Step 3: Fussy cut each image using EK Success Cutter Bee Scissors. Step 4: Cut a white cardstock using grass die cut and ink blended it using Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide . Step 5: For the background,  ink blended Fired Brick , Carved Pumpkin and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide. Step 6: Splatter the background with water and gold shimmery watercolor paint. Step 7: Adhere the piñata to a hemp cord and then adhere the tip of the hemp cord to the card (just put glue on the tip, so the piñata can swing.) Step 8: Assemble the card using glue and foam tape .  Thank you so much for checking out ...
