Happy Easter Card by Sara

Hi BRI friends, Sara here! I am back with a new card, inspired by the current BRI Mood Board Challenge . Every month is a personal challenge, I usually love the color palette but when it comes to use it...I’m afraid! And this month was no exception! I loved the color combo but I didn’t know what to create. So I put out all my stamps and...I had the idea! Those colors are perfect for a spring and happy scene! When I have to come up with ideas, I usually scroll my Instagram feed (there are so many talented crafters, there is always a great inspiration out there!) and I search on Pinterest. Not necessarily to find images or illustrations, but also for color palettes. Well, I found an illustration that worked great with the stamp I wanted to use. I love this bear from Neat and Tangled , it is called “ All the bunnies ”. I’ve recently read that this company will close and I’m really sad about it. But there are a few of this still in stock!

Dream Big!

Hello my long lost friends!  I have been completely MIA from the crafting scene for a long time now. When coronavirus changed our world, I was in the middle of moving and I'm still in a weird limbo there, and trying to do at home learning with 6 kids was no picnic! But, I was so happy for the excuse to devote a few hours to stamping and coloring again.  Here are the stamps and dies used from the Butterfly Reflections, Ink Store: Neat and Tangled Dream Big Stamp and Die Set Hello Bluebird Pathway Background Stamp Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad 3D Foam Squares Copic Sketch Markers I started by stamping the main image from the  Neat and Tangled Dream Big Stamp  set onto my white cardstock, then coloring it with my  Copic  Markers. Then I cut it out with my coordinating dies. Next, I used the  Hello Bluebird Pathway Background Stamp  and stamped it onto my white cardstock that was already cut to A2 size, and I colored it. Next, I added my little goose an

Flipping Adore You!

Hi, Butterfly Reflections fans! Toni here and I'm head over heels for this card featuring Lawn Fawn Magic Picture Changer dies paired with the Neat and Tangled Jumped for Joy set! I highly recommend you watch the LF intro video on using the dies. After that it's a snap! I started my card by completing the Lawn Fawn Magic Picture Changer section first--you know, the fun part! I stamped and colored the Neat and Tangled Jumped for Joy hedgie with Memento Tuxedo Black on both sliding pieces so it would appear he was bouncing on the trampoline.  Notice the trampoline is stamped on the LF MGC frame.  The images are colored with Copics. Next I sponged the MFT Mini Cloud Edges stencil with Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers .  Isn't he so cute bouncing? Eeeeeeee! Once the slider was assembled, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black and set it aside while I did the card base. The pull tab and base paper are from the Lawn Fawn Spring Fling 6

New Year's Card

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's Dana here from Dana G.Crafts and I'm sharing New Year card with you today. To begin, I stamped critters and bicycle images from Neat & Tangled Ride With ME Stamp Set using MFT Extreme Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers and added highlight with White Gel Pen. For background, I ink blended A2 sized white card stock using Abandoned Coral and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide Ink with clean water here and there and let it dried. I then stamped only '2019' image from Altenew 2019 Stamp Set and stamped another sentiment from Neat & Tangled Ride With Me Stamp Set.  Next, I embellished 2019 numbers with Studio Katia crystals using Multi Medium Matte. I used July Crystals, October Crystals and Sparkling Crystals. To finish off, I foam mounted colored images as shown in the picture. Hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you so much for join

Create Galaxy Background With Dye Inks

Hello, BRI friends! It's Dana here with another Wednesday inspiration. I can't believe that it's already April and it means I have only 3 more times to share my cards as a design team memeber on this blog. Time flies too fast! For my first card of April, I tried to make galaxy background with dye inks. Let's get started! To begin, I pulled out my Lawn Fawn dye inks and cold pressed watercolor paper. I ink blended the background from light to dark colors with mini blending tool. I used LF Merman, Plastic Flamingo, Manatee, Narwhal dye inks and Black Soot Distress ink. I then splattered white drawing ink with water using paint brush. I stamped images from Neat and Tangled Ride With Me Stamp Set onto white card stock with Altenew Permanent Black and colored them with Copic markers. I die cut them using Ride With Me Dies and added highlights with Signo White. Before foam mounting the images, I heat embossed sentiment from Neat and Tangled Dreams Stam

You are Wonderful

Hello Tuesday! Alix here today sharing a card featuring some great stamps and dies that Butterfly Reflections Ink carries in store. I hope you will find it inspirational for your future card making. To begin with, I created the background color using Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink in Picked Raspberry and Fossilized Amber on a piece of watercolor paper. I splattered some water over inked background, then quickly removed water droplets with a piece of paper towel to create white spot effects. Adhered it onto the card base when the surface was dry and set aside. I die cut a circle window using Lawn Fawn Outside in Stitched Scallop circle die and adhered over the card base using some foam tape to create dimensions. I colored all images from Neat and Tangled Magical Day Stamp set using Copic Markers and fussy cut them with my scissors.I assembled all cut out images onto the card. Then I added Pink Lemonade and Snowfall sequins mix from Neat and Tangled. At Last, I found

Grand Adventures...

Hello friends!   Norine back again with a couple of quick cards to share with you today! So my oldest son is beginning an adventure where he's chucking it all and taking to the road for an indefinite period of time.  Just him and his dog, in a van.  Till the money runs out?  Exactly the thing any mother of fully grown children delights to hear, amiright?  But I'm being supportive.  I even made him a card!   I stamped the topography background stamp from Neat & Tangled onto watercolor paper, and painted  with a mix of blues and greens from the Gansai Tambi watercolor paint palette .  As it dried, the colors would lighten so I added a few layers of paint. I found some tags in my stash and cut them down to fit the stamped sentiments, also from the Topography set.  I stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink and then tied the tags with some jewelry making twine.  I finished it up with an assortment of sequins like these and these .  The card above uses Lawn F

Birthday Card using Masking Technique

Hello, BRI friends! It's Dana here coming back with another card for Wednesday. Today, I played along with Neat and Tangled Puppy's Favorite Things stamp set again. I created 9 different doggies from one stamp image this time. I started by stamping dog image from Neat and Tangled Puppy's Favorite Things stamp set onto card stock with Altenew Permanent Black. I stamped same image on 4 post-it notes and fussy cut them out using scissors. I used them as a mask and created today's scene like below. I stamped images after erasing the part of original stamped lines on clear stamp using baby wipe when I needed. After I got a group of doggies, I drew variety shapes on the empty part with Copic Multiliner. I then colored the images using Copic markers and added details with Prisma colored pencils. I cut dog border, top part of group image, using scissors and ink blended the background onto leftover piece. I used Peacock Feather and Mermaid Lagoon Distress

You Are My Most Favorite!

Hey there! I can't believe we're already in July! Considering I spent most of June traveling, it was a little hard to get back into the swing of work and the daily grind. It was the end of my day off on July 4th before I finally felt like our house was back in a somewhat recognizable state of order. Unfortunately, along with our hectic schedule for several weeks in a row, my crafty mojo was out the window, too! But I took a short hiatus from creating, and it was just the respite I needed. The creative juices started flowing again this week. Do you ever over-complicate things? I do. All. The. Time. So, I've been spending a little bit of time thinking of some "template" type ideas that I can re-visit any time I need a quick and easy card to give. Send in the stripes! Folks, perhaps the easiest thing in the world is making a set of stripes, and then slapping a bold and cute sentiment on top for a focal point! This is a simple type of card, so this post will
