Thank you for Everything!!!

Hello Friends Waleska here from craftinglovew happy to be back at the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog to share some inspiration for fall with the Amazing new Mood Board.   Have you play along with this beautiful board?  I couldn´t resist myself to make two projects for this challenge... CARD DETAILS: To create this card I started with the background, blending some oxide inks and regular inks. I started with Peakcoak Feathers  and Fossilized Amber Oxide Ink s for the other tone I used Peachy Keen Lawn Fawn Ink.   I used Gansai Tambi Starry colors watercolors in color Yellow Gold to splatter the background and some water too.  I colored the cute, cute, cute dear from the Helloblue Bird set Fall Friends with copic markers also matching the colors in the Mood Board, hand cut it and adhere it to the center of the card.  I stamped the sentiment from the same set with Onyx Black ink. To add a more fall vibe to this...

Painting backwards....

Hello, hello!  Norine here from The Velvet Lemon blog .  It's been a week for introductions hasn't it, but let me just say how delighted I am to have been invited to join such a talented group of paper crafters, and to contribute here at Butterfly Reflections Ink!   Today I'm sharing with you, some cards I made by working backwards.  What do I mean, you wonder?  Well, it's a technique I sometimes enjoy doing, where you "smoosh" your water based ink pads on a craft mat, mist the colors with water and then drag your water color paper through it to create a pretty mess of color.     For today's cards, I wanted a blend of blues and greens (always a crowd pleaser) and yellows/pinks.  You will always be happier with the results when you keep the green/blues from overlapping with the yellow/pinks, because that just produces an unappealing mud color.   I used a variety of Tim Holtz Distress Inks for this project, but any wate...

So Very Blessed

Hello everyone!!   Laurie  back with you on another fabulous Monday..ok, maybe not fabulous.  Today I wanted to share some "new to me" goodies from Right At Home Stamps. The two sets I used pair perfectly together to create beautiful cards!!  The first set I used is the  Fall Leaves  set. This is a builder sort of set that lets you create leaves, flowers and acorns.  It is full of tiny images to help fill in spaces and give your project a "finished" effect.  The second set I used is Script Greetings .  With beautiful font and messages for almost every occasion, it's a must have!! Here's a look at what I've created!! I stamped the leaves and coloured them with alcohol markers before fussy cutting them out.  I arranged them on my card base and stamped some other images directly onto the base, surrounding my leaves.  Of course, I didn't plan on a sentiment, which I never do, so it ended up being placed vertically.  I tho...
