YAY! Let's Celebrate

Hey y'all! It's Kelli here for my first post as a design team member! Woohoo! Today I'm sharing a quick and simple card using the Maggie Holmes Carousel Collection. For this card I have used the Carousel Ephemera pack , Carousel 6x8 Paper Pack , Carousel Faux Enamel Stickers , and Carousel Foil Stickers . These cards are incredibly easy to make. I suggest you lay everything out to get the layout you want prior to gluing anything down. First, I cut the kaleidoscope paper down to a little under 4.25" x 5.5" to fit on the card base. Then, I laid down the flower with gold glitter and on top of that the giraffe. With foam tape I adhered the "YAY" sentiment and over that I used the "CELEBRATE" stick. Then, I added the skate enamel sticker and some sequins and it's done! The great thing about these products is that you can make a lot of different cards with all different types of looks! Here's another card I made using the same

Jolliest Bunch of Elves This Side of the Nut House!

Hello! Happy Saturday! Samantha here today, and I'm sharing a cute, festive and funny layout I made of my little Menn decorating our tree last year!  Love it! Ha ha! I started by making large paint strokes with a warm pink watercolor ! Once that was dry, I added some watercolor splatters in Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide Ink and Cosmo Cricket Gold Spray !  Once the background was dry, I started layering some green and black/white 6x6 papers behind my photo strip! Then I started adding some embellishments like the Shimelle Shaker Stickers (OMG!!) and wooden buttons ...which are my FAVORITE embellishment ever!! LOVE them! And who remembers enamel dots?!? ME!!! Because I own ALLLL of them! Lol!!! I swear that's what it feels like! So I added a sprinkling in green and red around my layout! Lastly, I added my title with the Maggie Holmes Carousel Happy Thickers (swoon) and some ooooooooold green Thickers I had in my stash! So that's my layout! What do

Hello, Beautiful Girl ...

Hello and Happy Thursday !!  Mayra here with today's post .  I feel like I haven't crafted in a while  (diy kitchen remodel ...lol ) ... !  I was so happy to be back to crafting .  For today I created this card using  My Favorite Things Beautiful Girl stamp set . This set has matching dies as well  Die-Namics Beautiful Girl dies set .  I colored in my images , then die cut a piece of white card stock using My Favorite Things Die-namics Stitched Rectangle Stax .  I used Distress Ink in Worn Lipstick for the background . I layered a  patterned card stock from the   Bloom 6x6 Paper Pad by Maggie Holmes    to finish my card . The sentiment from this set was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink .  I am so happy you stopped by today ! I hope you enjoy and feel inspired to create ! Wishing you a wonderful and Blessed day !

Smitten & Cute

Hello Everyone and Happy FRIYAY!! I am back with another layout! This time I am working with the Pink Paisley C'est La Vie Collection. Oh LA LA! This collection really reminds me of something elegant, pretty, and sophisticated. So that's what I went for in this layout. I wanted something simple but pretty.  I love these flowers and the cluster that's going on, on in the upper left corner. I also love the  Gold Foil Jumbo Stickers  that go along with this collection. I used the  Amy Tangerine Rise and Shine Foam Stickers  for a title. This Me + You heart is perfect for my layout. These  Puffy Stickers  are the prettiest puffy stickers and are so fun to work with. I also used some of Maggie Holmes butterflies. I had those laying on my desk forever and they went well with the layout.    So that pretty much wraps up my layout for this week and be looking out for a process video over on my YouTube channel! See you all next week!!

Sawdust is Man(n) Glitter Layout

Hello there! Samantha here and today I'm sharing a layout that makes me smile! Ha! it's my hubs and my biggest little Mann, and they're working hard for the money! :) My husband loves woodworking, and both my littles just love helping him out! But boy does that sawdust get EVERYWHERE! ha! Ok, to the layout - I started by adding a light layer of gesso to the patterned paper. Once that was dry, I added some Pixie Paint by Cosmo Cricket to some water that I spritzed onto the paper. Hello FUN!! Ha! I set that aside to dry and started working on the layering my photos! I used various papers from the Fancy Pants Attwell 6x6 paper! LOVE that paper pack! I used embellished in that space around the two photos with ephemera from Maggie Holmes and sequins ! I created the (hysterical! ha!) title by combining thickers from Pebbles Hello Love and Spring Fling Thickers! I even added some gold glitter to the gold foil part of the word 'glitter'! Ha! I added

February Mood Board

Hello there! Amanda here today to share the February mood board. I was immediately drawn to these gold on navy images and then pulled in the pink and minty blue to coordinate. It's makes a great non-traditional Valentine's Day palette too! Mint, Gold, Soft Pink and Navy Image Sources: Pinterest And here is my layout it inspired!  I started with creating my background by splattering several mist colors on white cardstock. Once the mist was dry I added white embossing paste with a stencil. Then I went back in and added a few rub-ons and stickers. Once my background was done I layered several papers from a few different paper pads and tucked in other elements like the gold foil die cuts, "awesome" overlay, stickers and enamel shapes. Layout titles are seriously the bane of my existence. I don't know why I struggle with them so much, but I do! I pulled these wood tiles from my stash and tried to piece something together and I think it turned ou

Jump In!

Hello! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a fun layout I made! I started with a piece of 12x12 white cardstock and lots of goodies from the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop ! I started by mixing some paint with embossing paste in various shades of pinks and oranges. Then I used a palette knife and spread the mixture through a really fun triangle stencil ! Once that was dry, I used Distress Inks and some recycled packaging to add the watercolor look on top of the triangles! I only matted my photo on some various pieces of white cardstock and some tissue paper in white! So fun! I used some of those really fun triangle acetate shapes from Pinkfresh Studio to add some more yellows and pinks behind the photo and around the layout! As far as embellishing, I used things from Maggie Holmes and Amy Tangerine's collections! The camera brad is from the Open Book collection, the tiny little phrases are from the Confetti collection which are on top of that fun waterc

Baby You're So Classic

Hello! Samantha here with you today, and I'm sharing a super fun layout using paints , thickers and minimal embellishing! :) I really had a TON of fun making this layout! To start, I edited my photo and added a texture to it (it's a subtle grid design) and then I printed it out just a smudge smaller than 8x10. Then, I used a triangle stencil and some white embossing paste to add some subtle texture! I added some paint to the edges with my palette knife and I really love how the colors blended together. I used  Amy Tangerine Thickers in black and Maggie Holmes Shine Thickers for the title!! I really love mix and matching different fonts for the title! I also used the amazing acetate Pinkfresh Studio triangles...which I LOOOOVE! I used a few pieces from Maggie Holmes' Confetti Vellum and Acetate Ephemera to embellish as well as some of the Tiny Phrase Stickers from the same collection! I could use the phrase stickers on everything! This photo is of

Summertime Layout!

Hello there and happy Saturday! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a super fun layout using a ton of products from the Butterfly Reflections Ink Store!! Yeah! So let's dive in! I started by using Acrylic paints and gesso onto a patterned paper background. But the background could have easily been recreated using Distress Paints or Ink Dabbers ! Once it was dry I used my favorite My Favorite Things Stencil and some Mist to add even more texture! I love the contrast of the blues and browns! Super summery and pool-side to me! Once it was all dry, I stitched some Thickers from Dear Lizzy and Amy Tangerine. I had a ton of fun embellishing with Pinkfresh Studio Wood elements, Amy Tangerine Rub-ons and of course that bow from Studio Calico ! LOOOOVE the bow! This past summer we spent more time at the pool, then not! So it was adorable to see these two lounging on the pool chairs one day towards the end of summer! Ha! Thanks again for stopping by! And be

Sweet Dreams layout

Hi hi hi!! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a dreamy and nostalgic type layout! :) I started by adding some white Gesso to the background of my, pretty busy and texty background paper. That just softens up the 'noise' of the paper. Then I did some watercoloring with Distress Inks in light blues onto a separate piece of watercolor paper ! Once the paper was dry, I  stamped the clouds from Lawn Fawn Bon Voyage stamp set and fussy cut them out! I just LOVE the way those watercolor clouds look! I placed them around my photo, and then used some of the Happy Things Wood Veneers to bring some of the 'kraft' color! I stitched on the title, which I created with letters from both the Yes Please Remarks Sticker Book and Webster's Pages #Happy Teal Letter Stickers ! Just a bit more embellishing with a flair from Lawn Fawn , and a bow from Dear Lizzy ! I just LOVE how this turned out! So that's what I have for you today! I hoep it inspired

SHINE. You smile. I smile.

Hey everyone,  Jung  here!  Today, I'm sharing a scrapbook layout with you of my younger daughter. One line from my journaling says "You sure make me work for that genuine smile, but when you do, you shine!," and it's totally true.  We even have a joke in our family that she has a Chandler smile, lol.  (If you watch Friends, it's the episode where Chandler & Monica take engagement photos.)  I hope her smiles make you smile, just like it does for me! I took these photos of her while we were at the pumpkin patch, so I wanted to use fall colors on the layout.  I made my own fall embellishments using My Favorite Things fall florals  stamp set  and matching  dies .  I just got this set and I absolutely love it!!!  The stamps are small enough that I was able to use my beloved hero arts ombre ink pads; One of my favorites for fall colors is  butter to orange !  I did add a little bit of clear wink of Stella  on top of the florals, but it's hard to show in

A Rainy Ride Layout!

Hello and good morning all! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing another layout with you today made with lots of goodies from the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop ! So let's start this October with some fun! I created the background of my layout after taking this class at Big Picture classes! So I don't want to divulge too much! But here are some words: watercolor. fun. no brush. Ok! So, I love using my 6x6 pads to back my photos! And although this layout is minimal in its embellishing, I still used lots of goodies from the shop!  You know one of my favorite ways to add watercolor to something is with Distress Inks ! And this background could totally be made with Distress Inks ! I used the amazing, adorable, cute as can be puffy stickers from Crate Paper's Wonder collection ! I also used the October Afternoon puffy stickers and the word strips from Maggie Holmes ! Those Thickers are my absolute favorite, I could use them on EVERY layout! I LOVE

Our Tribe

Hello there! Amanda back today to share a layout I created based off of this month's mood board. Have you had the chance to play with this yet? I just love these colors together! I have found that even when my inspiration is softer colors I tend to go with more of a pure saturated color. I tried to keep the balance here but that yellow just wanted to be bold! ;-) I used a mix of several lines from the shop and just had fun creating the flow of this layout. I really love the pops of watermelon. Supplies Used: Crate Paper Journey Ephemera , #Happy Word Stickers , #Happy Tags & Prompts stickers , Life's Sweet Round Stickers , Banner Love Puffy Stickers , Life's Sweet Badges , Creative Agenda Enamel Shapes , True Stories Wood Buttons , Craft Market 6x6 Paper Pad , Summer Vibes Photo Stickers , Distress Marker Cracked Pistachio , Waterbrush Detailer , Styleboard Charcoal Thickers Thanks so much for looking today! I will be back with a new mood board i

A Very Love-y Layout

Hello! Samantha here, and happy Valentine's Day! :) I'm here sharing a super lovely, and love-y layout on this day of LOVE! :) I used a lot of goodies from the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop, so let's get to it! :) See? Lot's of goodies! I found this picture of my littlest Mann, when he was just a wee one! (3 years ago - ack! Where did the time go?!) I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set Hello Baby, and heat embossed on the photo itself! Shh, don't worry, the photo wasn't sad or scared!  I also used the Sharp Backdrops stamp set to add some texture to the watercolored areas. And speaking of texture - I also added some more texture with a stencil and some embossing paste ! All of the papers and layers behind the photo are from the amazing Kiss Kiss paper pad - LOVE that paper pad - swoon! I used some white paint to lighten up the busy background paper, and then when it was dry, I also added some watercoloring with the Worn Lipstick Distress ink
