Koalafied for a hug! with Peter

Hi everyone! It's Peter here. I'm back with another card for you! This time, I used something old and something new from Lawn Fawn. I combined the older I Love You(calyptus) set with it's new sibling, the I Love You(calyptus) Flip-Flop . The two koala's can be combined together so it looks like they are hugging and it's adorable! I used two different stripes for the background. The stripes that are all across the card are made with the new genius Plaid Stencil . You can make perfectly cute plaid patterns with it, but as you can see it's also great for just some striping. I used Distress Oxide in the colors Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron to blend a gradient in the stripes. The panels are both cut with my all-time favorite basic dies; the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables .  With the help of some gold watercolors and some green  foil , I gave it just that little bit extra flair! The smaller striped panel is cut out of a patterned paper from the Really Rainbo

I also threw in two clouds from the MFT Cloud 9 dies , using the larger one to stamp my sentiment. I added the leaf print to cover my card base with just a thin strip of a white on white stripe down the side as an accent. Then I popped my image up with foam tape. As a finishing touch a added a few Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Sparkling Clear and 6mm Marshmallow sequins . I also did a b
