I miss your hugs

 Hello crafty friends!!!! Silvia's here and I'm so happy to be back on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog today! For my card I started cutting a white rectangle panel (4,25" x 5,5") , I ink blended it with Lawn Fawn's "Cloudy" stencil and salvaged patina Distress Oxide ink and I added some texture splattering with clean water, tone on tone ink and a bit of Indian gold Nuvo mousse (both loosened with water). I then die cut two grassy and one cloudy borders with Hello Bluebird "Grassy Knoll" dies (that I ink blended them with mowed lawn , twisted citron and rustic wilderness Distress Oxide inks) and a tree with Lawn Fawn's "Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop" die (that I ink blended with pumice stone and black soot Distress Oxide inks). I stamped images from the "Happy Hugs" stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them.  For the sentiment, I die cut the "hugs" scripty from the "Long

Sweet Christmas

 Hello crafty friends! Silvia's here today! I'm so happy to be back on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog and I hope you're all safe and healthy at the moment. I made a Christmas card to share with you featuring a lot of Lawn Fawn goodies and I hope you'll like it. I started die cutting a 4,25" x 5,5" stitched rectangle from white cardstock, I ink blended it with tumbled glass (in the center), broken china and peacock feather Distress Oxide inks and I splattered with clean water first and broken china and platinum Nuvo mousse loosened with water then. I stamped images from Lawn Fawn "Milk and Cookies" , "Snow much fun" , and "Den sweet Den"  stamp sets, I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them. I then used the pink cardstock from Lawn Fawn "Shimmer Cardstock Pastel"   to die cut 3 times the "Merry" scripty  and  white glitter cardstock to die cut some snowflakes with "Mini Snowflakes

Seaside Hello!

 Hi there!!!! I'm so happy to be back once again on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog. Today's card is a sea themed one featuring  a bunch of Lawn Fawn goodies. I first die cut a stitched 4,25" x 5,5" rectangle from white card stock and I ink blended it with tumbled glass and broken china Distress Oxide inks. I then die cut two stitched waves and one hill side borders and I ink blended the first two with mermaid lagoon and salty ocean Distress Oxide inks and for the third border I used antique linen , vintage photo and walnut stain Distress Oxide inks. I also die cut a palm tree using Lawn Fawn "Tropical Backdrop" dies.  I stamped images from "Ocean Shell-fie" stamp set with black ink, I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them (you can use coordinating dies if you prefer).  For my sentiment, I die cut three times the "Hello" scripty die from white card stock, I glued them together and I blended it with speckled e

It's your day! Make a wish

Hello Everyone! I'm so happy having the opportunity to share a new card on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog. Today I have a slimline card featuring some adorable Hello Bluebird stamp sets for you. I first die cut my card base with the new Trinity Stamps "Wonky Stitched Wilderness" die set from white card stock. I ink blended with tumbled glass and broken china Distress Oxide inks on top and with twisted citron , mowed lawn and vintage photo Distress Oxide inks on bottom. I also splattered with clean water first and then with the same Distress Oxide inks I used and a bit of Indian gold Nuvo mousse. To add interest to the background, I stamped the landscape from "Farmland Background" stamp set with Memento rich cocoa ink. I then stamped images from the new "Party on the Farm" stamp set with Memento black ink , I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them. I die cut the "Make a Wish" script three times from white cardstoc

I'm so happy having a chance to be still here with you today sharing a coffee themed card I made using different stamp sets by one of my favorite brand: The Greeting Farm. I started stamping images from "Frappe-y-Anya FB" and "Coffee Anya FB" stamp sets with Raven hybrid ink by LDRS , I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them. I then die cut a stitched 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" rectangle from white cardstock, I created my own pattern stamping several time coffee cups and sentiment from "Miss Anya Coffee Break" stamp set with Lawn Fawn Manatee ink and I blended borders with picked raspberry Distress Oxide ink (I also splattered it a bit on it). A perfect day is one shared with a friend

Hello crafty friends! Today I want to share with you a sweet card featuring two of my favorite critters by Hello Bluebird. I started by cutting a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" white rectangles and I ink blended it with tumbled glass and broken china Distress Oxide inks on top and shabby shutters and evergreen bough Distress Oxide ink on bottom. I splattered with clean water and inks loosened in a drop of water and I let it dry. I then stamped a sentiment from the "Seaside Girls" stamp set and some dandelions from the "Field Mice" stamp set with Versafine black ink  . I stamped images from the "Leaf Play" and "Easter Egg Hunt" stamp set, I colored with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them (you can use the coordinating dies to cut images and you can find them here and here ). I then die cut a white frame using the "Gallery Frame #4" die set and I built up my scene using a mix of liquid glue and foam dots.

Hello crafty friends and welcome back to the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog. Silvia's here today sharing a Lawn Fawn Spring themed card with you. I started die cutting two stitched rectangles from white cardstock with Heffy Doodle "Imperial Stitched Rectangles" die. I ink blended the first one on top with scattered straw , tumbled glass and broken china Distress Oxide inks and I splattered with clean water and loosened inks. I die cutting the second one using "Stitched Hillside Borders" die and I put them aside. I then die cut all the pieces to build up the  "Mushroom House"  and I colored them with a mix of Distress Oxide inks and alcohol markers. I also die cut a grassy border with Hello Bluebird  "Grassy Knoll"  dies, I ink blended it with  twisted citron  and  mowed lawn  Distress Oxide inks and I glued on my base with the mushroom house. I decided to create a soft look for my background, so I die cut a 4 1/4" x 5

Hello crafty friends! Silvia's here today with a card inspired by my childhood memories. I love taking long walk in the open air on Spring and I really miss them a lot this year, so I decided to create this happy and joyful scene using a bunch of  Hello Bluebird stuff. I started die cutting a white stitched rectangle and all the pieces to build up my scene with the "Skating pond scene" and the "Grassy knoll" dies and I ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks ( I used shabby shutters  and evergreen bough for tree leaves, vintage photo and ground espresso for tree trunks,  twisted citron and mowed lawn for the grass and salty ocean and peacock feathers for the river). I then stamped images  from the "Seaside Girls" and  "Garden Friends" stamp sets, I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them out (if you prefer you can usee coordinating dies that you can find here and here ). Hello Butterfly Reflections ink-ers, how are you?! Here in Italy Spring has sprung and I missed a good frappuccino and a good open air walk sooooo much. Unluckily, we are still locked down and so I made this sweet card waiting to go out again. I started die cutting a stitched rectangle with the Heffy Doodle  "Imperial Stitched Rectangles" dies from white cardstock and I ink blended it with tea dye , vintage photo and walnut stain Distress Oxide inks. I splattered with some clean water, I let it dry, I heat embossed in gold the frappuccino cup several times and I splattered with some gold Nuvo Mousse . I then stamped the adorable Anya from the "Frappe-y Anya" stamp set by The Greeting Farm with black ink , I colored it with alcohol markers and I fussy cut it. Hello crafty friends and welcome back to the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog. Silvia's here today to share with you a romantic card made with a bunch of Lawn Fawn adorable goodies. I first stamped images from the "Swan Soirée" and "Little Fireflies" stamp sets  with raven hybrid ink , I colored them with alcohol markers and I fussy cut them (you can use coordinating dies if you prefer and you can find them here and here ). To create my night sky I blended together black soot , chipped sapphire , blueprint sketch and dusty concord Distress Oxide inks, I splatterd with clean water and white ink and added some gold drops. I then die cut two stripes (a very small one and a bigger one) with the new cattails border die and I ink blended them. For the water I used salty ocean , peacock feathers and evergreen bough Distress Oxide inks, while for the green parts I used twisted citron , mowed lawn and evergreen bough.
