Butterfly Reflections, Ink

Hey!!! It's Laurie and I'm thrilled to be a guest on the BRI Blog today!!  I've created a card today featuring products from The Stamp Market.  This happens to be my favourite company at the moment.  I cannot get enough of Amy's designs!! I used the Rainbow Card Cover Die and of course, rainbow shades of Distress Inks. My favourite colours come from the one and only Laura Bassen and are: Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet. Before adhering the inked rainbow, I used Broken China Distress Ink and the Cloud Stencil from MFT directly on the card base. For the sentiment, I chose the Hey Die .  I love the font of this die and the fact that it comes with an outline die as well!! I was unsure about what colour the "hey" should be so decided to stick with a neutral light grey and white. I did add a good helping of Clear Sparkle Pen !! I'm baaaack!!  Hey, crafty peeps!! It's Laurie and as always, so excited to be a guest on the BRI Blog today!! I have not one, but two cards using stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird as well as Altenew!! Hello Bluebird is a new and utterly adorable stamp company that has some of the cutest animal images out there. It has quickly become one of my favourite companies.  And just so you know, all the Hello Bluebird products have been restocked and are available!! For my first card, I'll show you the process as there was a couple of idea changes along the way!  I started by stamping and colouring the trio of tiny birds in the McGregor's Garden stamp set.  Then used the co-ordinating dies  to cut them out.  I decided on creating a custom sentiment using the Bold Alphabet Dies  from Altenew. This is one of my all-time favourite alpha die sets..its sooo...well, bold!! To easily add colour to the letters, I used Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick...
