Hey, Y'all! I'm back again on the blog today with this birthday card that was SO much fun to create! Once March hits, we have at least one family birthday every month until September, so the 2nd half of the year is always a drain on my birthday card stash. Creating quick and easy backgrounds like this is a life saver when you need a fast card in a pinch! I began by taking some watercolor cardstock and taping it to my work surface with painter's tape. A quick note about using painter's tape: Before you stick the tape to your paper and adhere it to your work surface, it's helpful if you stick the tape to your arm and pull it off, just to remove some of the stick. Doing this will ensure that your cardstock doesn't tear when you are finished with your watercolor or ink blending and go to remove the painter's tape.
