Hello Sweet Girl

Hello everyone, Coralynn here and I'm so glad to be back again on the BRI blog today with you all.  I have a friend that is having a baby girl soon and her colours are pink and grey so this is the card I created. I started out with the Lawn Fawn of course and the Winter Alpaca stamp set. I stamped the Alpaca and the little heart in grey ink to create the background.  I then took my copics and did a bit of no line colouring to just the scarf. I coloured another Alpaca with warm grey copics and the same colours for the scarf as the background and added some shimmer.  Everyone needs a little shimmer in there life.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Hello Baby set with Versamark ink and heat embossed with with Hero Arts white embossing powder on to black card stock.  I then glued it to the card base and popped up the Alpaca die cut with foam tape. I added a bit of shimmer to the little hearts too and called this card done.  Be sure to stop by the Butterfly Reflectio

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone! Coralynn here with a Christmas card to jumpstart or inspire your holiday card making.  I am in full holiday mode, making cards like a mad woman.  Every year I tell myself that I will make more holiday cards and every year it seems to sneak up on me and I don't get done what I've wanted.  So I have at least 16 done and counting. Now on to my card. I took a white cardstock panel and cut out the snowflakes. I then glued a piece of acetate to the back and added all the little inside pieces to the snowflakes. I took the positive die cuts and added them to the panel to give it some interest. With a piece of watercolour paper, I blended different blue distress oxide inks and added some water splatters and adhered it to an A2 sized card base.  I added foam tape to the back and added that to the ink blended panel. I stamped the sentiment with blue ink to match the blue background and sprayed the entire front with a perfect pearls water mix to give it lot

PSL - Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Hello everyone, It's Coralynn here with an interactive card for you.  I recently got this in my happy mail haul from the Shop and I can't get enough of the Shadow Box Card die from Lawn Fawn.  This was my first attempt at making one of these but they are addictive so I've already got lots of ideas for more. I started with the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Fall 6x6 paper pack and cut out the shadow box twice.  I then cut it out again twice from the orange plaid from the same pack for the inside.  This is where I would have just cut out the sides instead of going the entire panel.  I did this so that it wasn't white on the inside and at the time, it seemed like a good idea. ;) I continued to cut out the trees from the same paper. For the inside hills, I used the dies that came with the set as well as the Grassy Hillside Pop-Up add on   for the little bit of grass in the back and cut that out of the Watercolor Wishes 6x6 paper pack. I added three hills to the

Hugs, Smile, Friend

Hello everyone, Coralynn here today and I'm excited to share a quick card with you.  I recently got the MFT Words for Friends die and it came the way it's shown below.  It was nestled nicely together so I thought it would look neat if I die cut it that way.   I took an A2 sized card base and die cut the word dies and took a piece of patterned paper from my stash and added it to the inside of the card.  I then took the adorable owl that I coloured the other day and thought she would fit perfect perched on top of the sentiment.  I added the owl to the card with an action wobbler as I thought the card needed just a bit more but I wanted the owl and sentiment to take the stage on the card so I thought the wobbler would be just enough.  Don't forget to stop by the shop.  The shop is full of wonderful goodies!   Thanks so much for stopping by! Thoughtful - Card

Hello all! It's Coralynn here and I'm excited to be back on the BRI blog.  I hope you are all doing well. I have a very simple card for your today that can be for someone special or as a thank you card. I decided to use Concord and 9th for my card since they are celebrating their birthday this week. I started out with an ivory card base and with the same colour card stock, I cut out the flower from the Floral and Flutter dies.   I took the Lawn Fawn Scalloped border dies to give the card some interest so I dry embossed it twice at the bottom of the card.  I cut out the sentiment and stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. That's it for me.  I hope you enjoyed my card and be sure to stop by the shop and see all the new awesome products. Coralynn  :) Supplies: InLinkz.com

Happy Birthday (featuring MFT and WPlus9)

Hi everyone, I'm tickled to be here guest designing for the BRI blog today.  I have a card that I created with the goodies I got from my latest haul from Vanessa's shop. I started out with an A2 sized card base with white card stock.  I then took a piece of vellum and used my copics in BV02 and BV04 and created an ombre of violet from top to bottom.  I then cut it out wit the MFT Dainty Scalloped coverup die and adhered it to the card base with multi matte medium from Ranger.  I find it doesn't show up as much through the vellum as other liquid adhesives. I took the BV04 copic and coloured a piece of scrap white card stock and use the Happy Wishes die from WPlus9 and just cut out the word happy.  The I took the little banner die from the Tags Builders 4 die set from MFT and cut it out of white card stock and stamped with black ink the Birthday sentiment from the That is all set from WPlus9.  I added that to the card along with the happy die cut with liquid

Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone, I'm here with the last post for March.  I can't believe that April is here already!  I'm certainly not complaining, I can't wait to see the buds on the trees and the birds are already back signing their lovely morning songs. My card today was actually put together mostly with dies that were already cut and just sitting on my desk waiting to be turned into a card.  All except the happy birthday sentiment.  It was die cut several times to give it the chipboard look.  And there is absolutely no stamping!   I used the WPlus9 Sunshine Layers Dies to create the frame and I popped that up on foam tape.  I used the Roses die from Paper Smooches as well as the Lawn Fawn scripty happy birthday die.  For the back panel I used a We R Memory Keepers Next Level embossing folders and I have to say these are SO COOL!!!  I used the Quilted set and I can't get enough of them.  I used a 5.5 x 4.25 panel and embossed it then used Tombo Mono Multi glue t

A sweet little Christmas!

Hello everyone, I'm so excited to be back on the blog with Butterfly Reflections Ink.   Today I have a sweet little card featuring MFT.  This cute little girl is so adorable I couldn't resist using her on this card. I used Tumbled Glass distress ink for the sky and I used a glitter glue for the snowflakes. I used the LF stitched hillside borders dies to create the snow hills in the background and then stamped and cut out the trees for interest.  I cut out a frame using the MFT Stitched Mini scalloped square stax and popped that up on foam tape.   I coloured in the little girl with copics and used the Wink of Stella to add some sparkle.  Cause no Christmas card is complete without some sparkles.  I then used the little banner from the MFT Winter Wonderland set and heat embossed a sentiment from the same set. That's it for me today but don't forget to stop by the BRI shop cause there is a 25% off sale STORE WIDE!  But hurry, it's only on

HELLO, Sunshine

Hi everyone! It's Coralynn here and I'm back with a tag for you today. I am loving the pineapple background from MFT.  It gives your projects just that extra small touch. I used the MFT  Polynesian stamps and die set and used my copics to colour in the images. Then used the MFT Stitched tag stax as well as the Lawn Fawn stitched oval dies for this project. I stamped the background with a light yellow ink and I stamped the sentiment with Memento Onyx black ink.  I popped up the girl and flowers with foam tape.  To finish it off I added some natural twine from my stash and some Wink of Stella. Be sure to stop by the shop,  there are lots of new goodies added everyday!   Thanks for stopping by, see you again! Coralynn  :) Supplies: InLinkz.com
