Holiday Thank you card

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!  It's Jacquie here on this Christmas Day sharing a holiday Thank you card.   This will likely be a thank you I send for a Christmas gift, I wanted it to have a seasonal winter feel to it, so I used Concord and 9th's Perfect Plaid stamp .  I simply stamped it in black ink on red card stock to create that fun buffalo check.  I trimmed it down for this card and used it as a backdrop.  The flowers and greeting are from a new Altenew layering set called Flower Arrangement .  I am in love with that font...isn't it gorgeous?  I did mostly second generation stamping to lighten up the flowers and make them more subtle.  I used the  coordinating die set  to cut them out and make a cute arrangement on my plaid panel. I also added a little berry accent stamping with one of my all time favorite sets  Altenew Beautiful Day. I finished it off by stamping the greeting and adding some clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh .

Unbelievable Lawn Fawn with ColorBurst!

Hello, my friends! Janette here. I am so excited to bring you this fabulous card today so, let's get to it! Okay, do you ever see a new product and think "ya, that's neat but I'm not ______ enough to use that." Some people feel that way about Colorbursts. You might not feel crafty enough, good enough, creative enough, etc... Don't be intimidated. This may be the technique for you!  Begin by misting watercolor paper lightly with water. Break out those Colorbursts. You can find the newest dry powders (matte finish) here , the new Liquid Metals (shimmer finish) here and here , or individually here . Simply tap powder on your dampened paper and drip drops of liquid metal. Give another light water mist and either let your paper sit to dry or pick up and tilt to get those colors moving. Play to your hearts content. Add Colorbursts, blot, mist, brush, shimmy and/or shake. Enjoy watching the colors bloom. Do know that the color will continue to move
