Sending Hugs Card by Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here with my last card for this DT term. These past three months have been amazing! Thank you so much Vanessa for inviting me to the team and a big hug to Samantha for helping me post my texts to the blog. You ladies are the best!! Today I share a sweet celebration card, featuring the adorable koala’s from Mama Elephant’s Koala Hugs and Little Koala Agenda . These two sets work so well together! The cute little ones are planning a party to surprise the sleeping koala! I started by cutting a green panel from the MFT Petite Gingham Paper Pad . Next I die cut three shakers windows in the top part of the panel using the Honey Bee Stamps Sentiment Banners dies and adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the panel. I filled up the shakers with some clear and star embellishments from my stash before closing them with a piece of scalloped white card stock. After stamping all my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, I used my Copic markers fo

New Baby Card by Tina

Hello friends, Tina here! This time I have a sweet baby card for you, using the adorable bear from the Mama Elephant Up With Love stamp set.   After stamping this cutie onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, I used my Copic markers for the coloring (B12, B34, E41, E43, E44, E47, E49). Next I die cut two star shapes , one from patterned paper from my stash and the other one from vellum . Before I die cut the vellum I added some double sided adhesive to the back of the sheet for easy assembling later on. To finish the design I also needed to die cut a circle from white Card Stock and three small clouds which I coloured with copics as well. For the base panel I cut the Lawn Fawn Sunburst Backdrop die from a sheet of yellow Card Stock. To create more dimension, I inked up the edges of the panel with Distress Oxide Scattered Straw ink . For some extra sparkle I added splatters of shimmer spray with a small paint brush. I used my Misti to stamp a Clearly Besotted sentim

Penguin Road Trip Card by Tina

Hello crafty friends, Tina here with a sweet road trip card! Aren’t these penguins from the Sunny Studio Passionate Penguins the cutest ever? I love that this set gives you so many adorable images, so the possibilities are endless! Today we are creating a mini slimline card with a mountain scene in the background. To start I stamped the sweet car image onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Cardstock. I die cut the slimline first and then used a small dome die to cut into this panel. I stamped the mountain scene from Sunny Studio Country Scenes to this dome shape. Next, I drew a road for the car to drive on. All the coloring was done with Copic markers Copics used Car        BG11, BG13, BG34, Y11, T3, T5 Penguins    T5, T7, C9 Scene        T1, T3, V000, V12, BG13, BG11, E41, E42, E43, C1, C3, C5 To match the scene, I inked up the slimline panel with Spun Sugar distress oxides ink . The sentiment was pulled from the MFT More Essential Sentiments set and stamped onto a banner die

Have a Happy Day Card by Tina

Hello crafty friends, Tina here with a colorful rainbow card for you today! To start I stamped all my images on Neenah Solar White 110lb Cardstock    Sunny Studio Heart Bouquet three times    The cute fox from Lawn Fawn Scootin’ By This card needed a bit of preparation because it involved selecting an assortment of copic markers. But once that selection is made, the coloring itself is a breeze. I die cut the images and placed the 3 balloon bouquets on top of each other so I could decide which balloon needed which color to create a rainbow effect from the bottom to the top. Copics used Reds        R22, R24, R37                                Orange    YR07, Y38 Yellow     Y15, Y19, Y02                                 Green      G12, YG11 Teal         BG11, BG13, BG34                         Blue         B91, B93, B95 Purple      V06, V09, V15                                 Fox: E39, E08, E31, E51, YR27, R20 For the background I inked up a rectangle stitched panel with distress oxid

Hugs & Kisses Card by Tina

Hello crafty friends, it’s Tina with a cute slimline card featuring some adorable bunnies from the Sunny Studio Bunnyville set . This set is perfect for Easter cards but can be used for many other occasions, as I am showing today. The base panel is easy to make with the Slimline Meadows die from Whimsy Stamps . This die is amazing since it creates a whole background scene at once. The large tree die cut is also included in this set, and I decided to make mine extra ‘fluffy’ with lots of green layers. I used my Copic markers to give the tree and the grassy borders some dimension and structure. The colors I used are listed below. Next, I stamped the cute bunnies, butterfly, and carrots from the set onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and did some more Copic coloring. Copics used Tree         E15, E18, G14, YG05, YG17 Bunny      T1, T3, T5, T7, R20 Carrot       E08, YR68, YR16, Y38, G14, YG05, YG17 Flowers    BV02, V06, Y06, Y19 Butterfly    Y06, Y19 I inked up the sky

Camping in a Winter Wonderland

Hello, Everyone - it's Allison, and I am excited to be up on the blog today with this card that was inspired by the new December mood board. Everything that I used for this card can be found in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink online shop . Before I get to my card, have you seen this month's mood board? It could not be more gorgeous!! You must play along with the mood board challenge this month. I know that I'm going to be making more cards with this palette. My card today features the fun Camp Trailer Card die set from Honey Bee Stamps . The camper goes together so easily, thanks to all of the separate pieces. All you have to do is pick what paper to use for each element. That may actually be the hardest part - too many patterned papers to choose from! I grabbed some scraps from my stash that went along with the color palette and got busy die cutting and gluing. There's a lot going on with the window. First, I cut a Christmas tree from Concord & 9th's Iconic Ch

Peace and Joy to all my Gnomies

Hello crafty friends! Gladys here and I'm so happy to be back on the blog today. I have a super cute shape card to share with you. I hope you will like it! I have been wanting to create a snow globe shaker card so this is what I came up with. I really love how it turned out and it was super fun to make. I thought it would be cute to combine it with the Oh Gnomie Tree stamp from Mama Elephant. So to begin I colored the huge gnome tree image using copic markers then cut it out using the coordinating die .  Next I used the Snow Globe die from Honey Bee stamps. I like the size of this snow globe and the gnome tree fit perfectly. I cut the solid snow globe die from Bristol smooth cardstock so I could do some ink blending. I used the colors seedless preserves , picked raspberry and spun sugar distress oxide inks . I started from the center using the lightest pink color to the darkest on the edge. To add interest I splattered some water droplets and diluted seedless preserves using a f

Costume Party Interactive Card

Hi crafty friends! Jenn here wishing you a happy Monday! Today I have an interactive Halloween card featuring the super cute Costume Party set from Lawn Fawn . I wanted this scene to look like a group of friends trick or treating so as you pull the tab, the whole group moves towards the dinosaur friend giving out candy! First, I stamped, colored (Copic markers listed below), and die cut the images. Then I started working on the background. I ink blended a night sky with Distress Oxides ( seedless preserves , blueprint sketch , chipped sapphire , black soot ) and splattered with water. After it dried, I used the Trick or Treat stencils by Honey Bee and black soot Distress Oxide ink to create the tree and houses. To create the silvery gray moon, I used the same Trick or Treat stencils with picket fence Distress Ink , pumice stone and hickory smoke Distress Oxide inks. (My kids kept thinking it was the earth and I had to insist it was the moon... So please tell me it looks like a moon

Unbe-LEAF-ably Easy Autumn Cards🍁

Hi Guys, Kelly here, my 2nd blog post and its my birthday! whoo hoo! For todays blog post I'm using Honey Bees Lovely Layers Maple Leaf Die . This die set is AMAZING & makes creating leaves so easy! This die set was a gift to myself, lol :)  To start off I grabbed some Alcohol ink panels that had "Autumn Colors" and I used the shadow die and die cut it. Then I grabbed some white & Gold cardstock and die cut the top layer (2 white & 1 gold). I glued them all together. I added a gold bow on top of the stem base.amd glued it onto my base panel which was added to 110lb Kraft Cardstock. I made a few cards with slight variations (Background, sentiments & embellishments) The one above (sentiment) is Altenew Label Love & the Background is Memory Box Pinpoint leaf die. I didn't add anything extra (embellishments) but I did on the others.  What's great about this die from Honey Bee is you can use anything as your shadow layer.
