Hi everyone! It's Cassie from Creatively Cass here and I'm back to share another card with you. Today's card is one that I was inspired to make based on the fact that my boyfriend and my anniversary is coming up! We're both pizza lovers, so the Pizza My Heart stamp set by Lawn Fawn seemed like a no brainer. Let's jump in :)
I started the card by using the MFT
Watercolor Wash Square stencil, and some new Distress Oxide colors I recently picked up from BRI. On the bottom corner I blended
Kitsch Flamingo and for the top I used
Salvaged Patina. These colors blended together
beautifully. I couldn't believe how lovely these new colors were. I splattered some paint over the square and let it dry.
Next I stamped out the pizza images from the Pizza My Heart stamp set. I loved making my own pizzas with all the toppings. I made a couple of our fave combos - it's making me hungry just to think about! I don't have the dies for these, so I just used some scissors and fussy cut the images out. Next I stamped the sentiment onto some brown cardstock with a nice brown ink like
Over Coffee by Catherine Pooler. I trimmed it down and die cut the stitched detail from the
Stitched Border die from Lawn Fawn.
Finally I stamped out a little speech bubble from the Avery Elle stamp set Speech Bubbles and trimmed that out. I adhered everything to my card front and the card was complete! I hope you enjoyed the project for today. Who else loves looking at old stamps and dies trying to find the perfect card for someone? I love being able to mix and match and make the perfect personalized card. Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you again soon with another card!
