Happy Sunday! Today, I'm sharing this super fun interactive card inspired by the March mood board! Since St. Patrick's day is around the corner, I thought I'd create a fun interactive card using a mix of new and old Lawn Fawn products. You'll find the products I used, as well as the new Lawn Fawn release at the Butterfly Reflections Ink store.
To start my card, I first ink blended an A2 piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using distress oxide inks kitsch flamingo and squeezed lemonade. Then, I used the puffy cloud background to cut the cloudy background. Next, using the stitched rainbow die, I cut a rainbow using various colored cardstock. Then I used the swish 'n pop die to create a pull tab mechanism to allow the rainbow to move. The stitched mountain border die, simple stitched hillside die and stitched hillside borders used to create the front panel of the card. This panel is large enough for the rainbow to hide behind the grassy hills.
The images for the card are from the following stamp and coordinating die sets: gleeful gardens (foliage, mushrooms), ahoy matey (coins), gnome sweet gnome (gnome turned leprechaun), booyah (modified witch's hat), happy everything (for the sentiment on bottom), bicycle built for you (small flowers on the bottom left corner). Images were stamped using versafine ink in black and colored using a mix of watercolor markers (tombow, zig and karin markers used).
The "pot" of gold was created by using the ice cream from the I scream you scream die set and modified by cutting the top using one of the stitched hillside border dies. The scripty happy was cut from colored cardstock and glued to the top of the card. White gel pen used to accent all the images and the card front was adhered to an A2 white card base.
