Hi Friends! I'm back sharing a mood board inspired card with you today. This month's board features both warm and cool colors, which are sometimes difficult to incorporate into cards. I decided to keep the leaves vibrant and warm while keeping the background on the cooler side. I thought the contrast in color as well as the white gave the card a nice look. What do you think?
To start, I ink blended crimson and sun kissed Altenew inks on white cardstock. Next, I used the small stitched leaves die to cut the leaves. Wonderful window die cut using white cardstock and stacked twice to create a dimension. I traced the window die on a piece of white cardstock and cut it using scissors. Next, I used emerald ink from Altenew to ink blend a soft teal behind the window.
I masked off the bottom panel of a white card base and ink blended a plaid background using the diamond plaid stencil by Pinkfresh studio. Altenew inks in emerald and andromeda used for the plaid background. Next, I used the simple wavy banners die to cut a sentiment strip. The sentiment from tree before'n afters was stamped using andromeda ink with the help of my mini Misti. Next, I arranged all the elements on the card and adhered them using liquid glue, foam squares and foam tape.
