Hi everyone, Joann here bringing you some Christmas cheer...lol! Over the weekend I went to a few crafting stores and I was totally overwhelmed with all the Christmas stuff. Now don't get me wrong I LOVE Christmas, but it was just a scaring reminder on how fast this year has gone and Christmas is literally around the corner.
So, I created a Christmas card for you today.
I purchased a few items from the new Lawn Fawn release and I'm absolutely loving everything! I cut a rectangle from some Tim Hotlz Watercolor Paper with the larger die from the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables die set and added some Tim Holtz distress inks ( tumbled glass, salty ocean, and dusty concord) and sprayed some water for my night sky. I took the Snow Day stamp set and stamped a few of the smaller images for falling snow and embossed my sentiment with some Zing Silver Glitter Embossing Powder.
My bunnies and trees are also from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day stamp set. I used some copic markers to color my bunnies and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. As for my trees I used Avery Elle Pigment inks (celery and lemon grass). The snow hills were cut using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders and added some Sparkling Ice Embossing Powder to add extra sparkle.
For a soft tone on tone look, I took a small striped border from the MME The Sweetest Thing Tangerine "Hello" Stamp Set, and stamped the image with some Versa Mark Ink. I then added my images with some foam adhesive and glued my center piece to some Neenah Solar Kraft Card Stock.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to stop by the store and stock up on some new Lawn Fawn items!
