Last month I started another photo a day challenge as a way to work on my photography skills which as you know leave more than a little to be desired. It was going okay until I dropped my phone and broke the camera. *face palm* But we are back in business for now with a loaner phone that makes me feel like a total moron while my camera gets fixed. Day One: Ladybug we found chilling on the sidewalk while out for a walk. Day Two: Morning skies on the way to work. Day Three: The creek on one of my training runs. Day Four: Spider Girl is so sparkly today. Day Five: Someone's lawn decoration on the way home from High Park. Day Six: Birthday present from my sister. Day Seven: Hail at the bus stop. Day Eight: Coolest postcards ever. Day Nine: Bringing a little superhero to my work clothes. Day Ten: Cat lost a tooth. Slowly but surely I am catching up on my blogging, and posting random stuff in between.  I feel positive about getting on track and getting stuff out into the world.  Now to find and dump my camera for all the ComiCon and Cuba pictures. Another fun filled week here in the Greater Toronto Area with all the winter you can handle from the freezing cold to the crazy snow.  I got some really fun, cute pictures and a couple that I cute took because I hadn't taken a picture and realized it late. January 29, 2014: Cat's happy snowman. January 30, 2014: Crafty dinosaur kit. January 31, 2014: Cleaning out my purse to lend it to my sister. February 1, 2014: Snow on the subway tracks. That was my week in pictures.  The prompts for next week are: As a side note, coming up next week I will be holding my very first ever giveaway.  As a tiny hint it will be dinosaur themed.    

So, I am taking part in another photo challenge.  However, this one is weekly so I may actually participate all the way through.  I am not using my camera for this one either, too complicated, I am going to do it using only my phone.  That way I can upload my pictures straight to Twitter. The challenge for week one as you can see  here was a photo of your favorite mug/cup/glass with the beverage of your choice.  So here is my resulting photograph.  

Due to life being all sorts of crazy and the monkey s bringing home what seemed like every germ under t he sun I missed posti ng for one year a nniversary of my blog on January 18, 2013.  ( YAY!  I made it to one year)  S o, I am making a big deal out of this instead , mind you I would have made a big deal out of this anyways.   I am also going to take this chance to thro w out a photos and stuff from things that I wanted to p ost over the la st year but I ju st didn't get a chance to write a post about in a timely manner.
