My Creatively Random Life

We went to see  Erth's Dinosaur Zoo Live  at Toronto's  Panasonic Theatre .  Aside from feeling like massive dorks for being in the minority for being adults there without children we had a great time.  The show takes you on a journey through prehistoric Australia introducing you to various creatures brought to life as puppets by very talented puppeteers and performers. The show was created by Erth Visual & Physical of Sydney Australia and is extremely interactive.  For every different creature someone is brought up on stage to get involved with the show.  Some of them even went out into the audience.  We had seats in the second row and the view was fantastic if not downright frightening at times.     The beginning of awesomeness for me was when the rain made the trees and hay bales grow. (because I am easier to amuse than your average four-year-old)  It was a very neat effect.  Then they moved on to baby dinosaur...

RAWR!! A triceratops and a t-rex walk into a bar... Okay, that's all I've got.  Telling jokes is not my strong suit, but I love dinosaurs.  When I went looking for pictures for this post I discovered I have almost a hundred random pictures of dinosaurs on my phone.  (weird right?) My favorite type of dinosaur is the triceratops which is a type of herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the late Cretaceous period in North America.  They have a large bony frill and three horns in a rough triangular formation, they are the most familiar of the ceratopsid dinosaurs. Last year, the kids and I went to a dinosaur thing and I discovered another type of ceratopsid dinosaur that I had never heard of before that I thought was just gorgeous.  They are called Kosmoceratops and they also lived during the late Cretaceous period in North America.  They are one of the most ornate ceratopsids and their frills are covered with horns.     I have n...

The other morning my valentine and I had a silly conversation via text (as we are prone to having every now and again) and at the end of it I thought I wish I could draw as that would make a cute little sketch.  Well I can't draw but I drew it up anyways because it is Valentine's day and he deserves something cute to show how much I love him. For some reason, I just could not get that last one to load the right way around.  Who knows why.  Anyhow artist I am not but this is my valentine for my valentine.  Love you baby!
