Fast Five Friday: January 23, 1015

This blog hop is the brainchild of Dani and Jax over at  Cover Girls  and it's quickly become one of my favourites.  It's fast, in list format and I can participate as much or as little as I want. Which is cool, because sometimes life gets busy. This week's topic is: Five TV Character Crushes.  Now you may guess that narrowing this down to five was a bit difficult for me.  The first four were easy enough but that number five spot was difficult to lock down.  1) Spike (sigh)  2) The Doctor (I don't really play favourites, show up at my door with the TARDIS and I'm yours....just don't tell my fiance) 3) Captain Jack Harkness (because really, who doesn't have a crush on him?) 4) Ianto Jones (perfect man, looks that good and makes coffee) 5) Constantine The topics for the upcoming weeks are: Jan. 23: Five TV Character Crushes Jan. 30: Five Favorite Authors Feb. 6: Five Novels You Wish You Wrote Feb. 13: Five ...

So it is my new decision to not to sign up for this until I actually have the post written because every time I do something comes up that stops me from posting on time.  Blah! I am not super in love with the style of art work, but who am I to judge, I can barely draw stick people.  The story line did it's job and drew me back in though, right back to those good ole days with the gang from Sunnydale. I can't wait to re...

O is for Once More With Feeling

So, this ranks in my top five Buffy episodes for sure.  Maybe even my top three.  Anyhow, with the overdose of musicals I have seen lately I have them on the brain so I thought I would get them out of my head.  The theme of Once More With Feeling is the characters being forced to express something they are hiding from the others through song.  It is really quite brilliant.  Some of Whedon's best work, in my humble opinion.  The songs range in style from rock opera to 50's sitcom theme and are accompanied by some pretty brilliant dance numbers as well. So, without further ado, here are my favorite songs from Once More With Feeling.  My number one is Giles singing this (unheard) to Buffy.  Anthony Stewart Head is so flipping talented.   My second favorite is Anya and Xander in all their adorableness. And of course, I couldn't forget my favorite person ever, in the whole world.  (he literally makes my knees weak *sigh*...
