Photo Challenge Week Eight: February 19 to February 25

So I only have about a zillion photos to catch up on posting, not exactly my idea of fun.  Still I have to be proud of the fact that I have still be taking them every day, even if some of them have been reaching a little for subject matter.  Anyway, on to the pictures: February 19, 2014: Super awesome postcard from my super awesome pen pal. February 20, 2014: My first foray into juicing, what's become an obsession since then. February 21, 2014: The view from my bed, mostly cos-play odds and ends. IGGPPC Secret Santa

In December, I participated in a Secret Santa exchange in the International Geek Girls Pen Pal Club.  Of course due to the super nasty weather we had here in Southern Ontario in mid to late December I both mailed by package out to my partner a little late and received my package from my secret Santa a little late. Which was okay because that made it extra special.  My secret Santa is from Tulsa , Oklahoma and she sent me a great package full of awesome stuff. P is for Pen Pal

As you may be able to tell from my super awesome new badge, I have joined an awesome new club.  They are called the International Geek Girls Pen Pals Club .  The best part, I get a pen pal.  (so cool, right?) When I was a teenager I had a few pen pals, (slowly over the years we lost touch) but I thought it was an awesome experience.  It was a great way to learn about how other people live, and make new friends.  My pen pals helped me get through some very tough times in my life. Anyhow, I am very excited about getting a new pen pal. (some might say a little too excited)  I didn't manage to get my name in until round three (bummer!) so I don't officially have a pen pal yet but I have been getting prepared. I haven't gone too crazy because I don't know what my new friend to be likes yet, but I picked up some tiny ponies to send with my letter because well...they are awesome!
