My Favourite......Book Character

Image
My Favorite.. is a weekly meme hosted by Maureen’s Books. In this meme we share every week something we love with each other. Because let’s face it.. The world can be a dark place and it’s time to share something positive. For more info:  My Favorite Meme . Picking a favourite book character is like picking a favourite child.  It's not really possible,  I love them all so much.  However, when I first read this the first character to pop into my mind was Cara, from the Sword of Truth series.  I love the Mordsith, they have been through hell and back and they find the inner strength to keep going, that's powerful. Cara comes  out as a favourite above the other Mordsith probably just because she is more prominent in the series but they all hold a special place in my heart as the character type resonates strongly.   What is your favourite book character?

The world can be a dark place and it’s time to share something positive. For more info:  My Favorite Meme . If this had come up just a few weeks ago it would have been hard, I am a huge animated movie fan so there are so, so many that I love but that was for we finally got out to see Moana.  We had not seen it due to scheduling with the kids and I was super excited that it was still playing in the theaters. I cannot stop singing the songs from this movie.  I mean, the movie is fantastic and we loved it and have already added it to our movie collection but the music.  So much more.  I am how my daughter was a few years ag...

A to Z Challenge 2017: Theme Reveal

Not that long ago I was in a huge panic, I had a theme for the challenge this year but I had done none of the work and only had one post written and scheduled.  I blame my son who gave me the flu and then took off on a March Break adventure.  Leaving me to fend for myself sick.  (was not pretty) Flash forward a few days though and I was feeling better but still pretty tired so I spent a whole night in bed reading which gave me a huge bump forward so I decided to keep my theme sort of.  It was going to be me reading through a series for every letter of the alphabet and reviewing each book. Instead I just went with what came up again, some are a single book, some are multiple books, some are novellas.  All are off the jungle that is my kindle.  Man that thing is too full of books, I could read two a day for the next ten years and not be through it.  Yet I keep adding more....I have a problem. That does not even count the books I read with Kindle Unli...

Celebrate the Small Things is hosted by  Lexa Cain  along with wonderful co- hosts  Writing Off The Edge  and  Kitbits . Today I am celebrating one kid coming home from their March Break adventures.  Having both of them away at once is too much for me. I am also celebrating spring starting next week, it has not been a hard winter but I am tired of it all the same. What are you celebrating this week?
