Belongs within: Chalcidoidea.
The Tetracampinae is a group of small parasitic wasps that are mostly known to develop as parasites of leaf-miners or in eggs of leaf-feeding insects (Bouček 1988). Male tetracampines have five tarsomeres in the fore- and hindlegs, but only four in the midlegs (Heraty et al. 2013).
Synapomorphies (from Heraty et al. 2013): Male antenna with six flagellomeres between F1 and clava; head with upper ocular and transfacial sulci present anteriorly; clypeus inflected into oral cavity, not on same plane as face; pronotum with isolated large bristle on posterolateral corner; forewing with speculum absent (specular area setose both dorsally and ventrally).
