Happy Saturday, peeps! Wow, it has only been a few days that I haven’t posted, but it feels like forever! My sweet friend Linda at The
Catered Crop chose
this card to highlight earlier this week and asked me to participate in this week’s challenge, which is to use Washi Tape! So I searched my stash and realized I had more than I thought!!! I wanted to do something other than a card, so I looked through my “alterable” box and found these tags I bought a looooooong time ago at my local office supply store. Once I got started, I couldn’t’ stop!!!
I don’t usually make tags for my Christmas gifts because we all know where they end up, but I felt that using up some of my stash of alterables was a good sign that I am working on not hoarding stuff, LOL! Here are some closeups:
All the tags use the washi tape along the bottom edge; they are from various sources, including Stampin Up, Martha Stewart and another company that I can’t remember (because I threw out the packaging!). The images are from various sources; if you want to know a specific image, send me an email (NOT a comment) and I’ll do my best to let you know the manufacturer. As I said, I had a blast making these and will gladly embellish my gifts this year with them! Be sure to pop over to The
Catered Crop to see what else those clever stampers have come up with!
I know Halloween is over, but I wanted to share with you some cookie-making we did earlier in the week:
We rolled out the dough and cut it with Halloween cookie cutters:
After decorating them with sprinkles and baking them, we put them on a plate:
But the best part was giving Grampy a green bat-shaped cookie! (He doesn’t look too sure of this, but he ate it!!!)
Thanks for visiting today! Be sure to stop back tomorrow for a new Paper Players challenge!
