Lots of Green!

DSCF3262
Yay, it’s Friday!  I have a couple green cards today for you!  The first is a St. Pat’s card, and it is for the Papercraft Star challenge this week:
I printed out a vintage St Patrick’s Day postcard and mounted it on some green cardstock and DP from MME:
DSCF3261
There is hardly ANY stamping on this card!!  Just this tiny little tag, from another postcard, cropped and cut out, on which I added a little shamrock from Itty Bitties:
DSCF3263
This is also for the Just Add Ink challenge, which is to “just add green”!
My second card is a birthday card for my nephew, and it uses scraps from the above card and an image from The Alley Way:

I colored my little frog with Copics, cut him out and popped him up;  the sentiment was punched with a circle punch and then sponged through a smaller mask for a fun effect!  The inside of the card has a computer-generated sentiment:  “We would never frog-et your birthday!”

This card is for the Kraft Journal’s Lucky Green challenge as well as the  Retrosketches sketch 54:
Thanks for visiting today!
Cassidy is learning to play with a glue stick, stickers and punches!  She really likes putting the punched pieces back into the cardstock, like a puzzle!  Smart kid!

PCCCS27 and PS130

DSCF2690-001

Happy February, everyone!  I had fun playing with the Paper Craft Crew Challenge Sketch 27 yesterday:

PCCCS027-Sketch

I used some new spring mini and SAB goodies to make this:

These will be going to the top sellers in my downline!  All DPs are from Sunshine and Sprinkles;  image and sentiment are from Patterned Occasions; and the hearts are from Itty Bitties  I added a couple of paper buttons and some stitched ribbon behind my embossed oval frame, and I am done!  This also qualifies for the Papercraft Star Frame Challenge 130:

Thanks for visiting today!

DSCF0784-001

A fun little card today for a couple of challenges:  Sketch Frenzy Friday had a nice sketch this week:

And Papercraft Star had a pretty color combo of yellow and gray:

And here we go:

I mixed some MME papers and images from PTI’s On the Farm and I was done….although the wheat is from Artistic Outpost!  I love this color combo!

DSCF0234
Happy Friday, peeps!  Just a couple little Halloween things to share with you today!  I saw this adorable inspiration photo on the Papercraft Star challenge:
Our Next Challenge
LOL, these witches crack me up!  I had already started coloring a Mo Manning Halloween image, so my colors really didn’t coincide with the inspiration photo, but I thought I would play anyway:
DSCF0233
I printed it off and colored it with some Copics….really quickly, not a lot of fancy-schmancy shading or highlighting here!  I added a little picket fence border and a retired SU sentiment matted on some Summer Starfruit embossed cardstock!   Her images just make me smile!  This is also for the Blogger's Challenge Friday, Witches and Goblins!
I always send my niece and nephew some Halloween goodies; now that my niece is in college, I have to send out TWO packages!  This is the tag I put on her animal-print gift bag:
DSCF0144
And after seeing Mary’s project here, I decided to make my nephew one of these treat holders!  I haven’t done one of these for a long time, but they’re fun & easy.  I did mine with a 12x12 sheet of cardstock and some old Halloween paper scraps.  A little bit of stamping (he doesn’t really appreciate that part of it!!!) and it is in the mail:

We had some really warm weather a couple of days ago…perfect to play “house” in the yard, especially with some new Hello Kitty boots to keep our feet nice & dry!

Four for Fall

DSCF8826

Before I begin today, I have had a couple of people ask about the supplies that I use on my cards via the comment section.  Unfortunately, since they are signed in anonymously, I cannot answer the questions!  So if you have any questions, be sure to send me a separate email….my address is on the right sidebar!  Love to help you!!

I did some “fall” stamping this week, and completed some challenges as well!  I seem to have been on a Crumb Cake kick!  This one is for the Little Red Wagon challenge 154—“Falling for You”:

DSCF8824

This uses the wonderful fall colors of More Mustard, Tangerine Tango, Cherry Cobbler and Cajun Craze.  Each leaf was stamped and punched with SU’s 1” square punch.

This card was for SCS’s CAS191 challenge, which was to use plaid:

DSCF8858

I printed out some digital gingham paper, added a simple PTI wreath and some Tim Holtz sticker letters; I embellished the wreath with a little heart and ribbon:

DSCF8859-001

The next one is kind of a departure for me….it uses scrapbooking stickers and no stamping, at least on the outside!  I got these Debbie Mumm stickers at a show I attended, and I thought I would use one or two to embellish a card, but I ended up using a whole bunch of them!!!  They are big shiny 3D stickers…love ‘em!  Same paper as above, on a Chocolate Chip card base:

DSCF8861

This qualifies for Use It Tuesday #41---a new challenge for me—All About Fall.  We’re supposed to use something that’s been in our stash, and these are definitely all about fall!  I used two PTI sentiments for the inside:

Finally, this card is for the Papercraft Star challenge #116—Fall Colors.  Check out this inspiration photo:

And here is my card:

The card mat was embossed with a Cuttlebug fall EF and leaves were attached to a burlap panel.  Another PTI sentiment on the inside:

Thanks for looking!  And remember, if you have any questions, just shoot me an email!

Cassidy looks like she is ready for Halloween with her blueberry mouth:

SSC59 & PCS97 (Again)

 DSCF0820
I loved the Papercraft Star challenge so much that I decided to do another card using the same stamp set, Countryside!  Here is the inspiration photo:
And I don’t know why it took me so long to get on Chupa’s bandwagon with her Sketchbook Saturday Challenge:
I hope I’m not too late!  Here’s my card:
DSCF0821
I flipped the sketch because I didn’t want my rooster staring off the edge of the card into blank space!  I stamped all the images in Cherry Cobbler ink; the panel behind the rooster is from the retired SAB set Fresh Vintage:
DSCF0822
I used some lace from my stash and Cherry Cobbler polka dot ribbon.  Thanks for looking today!  If you have any questions, just give me a shout!  Edited to add:  I am also submitting this to the Moxie Fab Challenge this week, which is gingham!
