TTTC148 You're Sweet Shaker

Hi everyone!  It's Thursday and time for Team X of the Tic Tac Toe challenge to share their grid for the week:

I'm still having fun with SU's Sweet Talk DSP....this time I made a shaker card with the heart pattern and the Tailor Made Tags die!  Here we go:

I layered the print paper on a diecut Stitched Rectangle of Blushing Bride, then cut a tag to match.  I used a smaller Stitched Rectangle die to cut an opening, then added an acetate window and some strips of Foam Adhesive Sheets along the inside edges.  I cut another tag from Basic White cardstock and stamped a sentiment and envelope from Banner Year and a stamped a Watercolor Shape on top.  I threw in some sequins from my stash, adhered the two layers together and added a Real Red satin ribbon:

I added a retired sentiment from Delightful Dozen on the inside!  This fulfills almost the whole grid, except for the silver square, LOL!

I hope you'll come play along with our grid this week...there's still time to make a loving creation to share!  See you at Tic Tac Toe!

TTTC106 Easter Blessings

Hello again, stampers!  Time for a new Tic Tac Toe challenge...I am the hostess this week and here is the grid I've chosen:

I am just obsessed with the sentiment from W+9's Spring Blessings set....I love the font, it is just so pretty!  And here is how I incorporated it today, using the right column of Leaves, Green and Die Cut:

I found this pretty wreath embossing folder in my stash and thought it would be fun to make an Easter egg wreath, but that was an epic fail, LOL!  So I cut an oval out of the center and backed it with a panel stamped with the Buffalo Check stamp in Soft Seafoam and added the sentiment in Pear Pizzazz to match the embossed panel:

I went to my Pierced Blooms die, cut out several flowers and leaves and placed them around the edge of the opening to create a pretty floral ensemble:

For some extra sparkle, I diecut some Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper for the centers and added some Old Olive Linen thread as a ribbon.  This is just about it for my Easter card stamping....although I still have lots more ideas, so I am not promising anything, LOL!  But I do hope you'll come over to the Tic Tac Toe challenge blog and play with my grid this week!  Can't wait to see what you create!

TTTC98 Silver Deer

Hi stampers!  Here with another post today---a Tic Tac Toe challenge!  Here's our board:

This board leaves a lot of room for interpretation, and since I saw that Christmas Card Throwdown had a metallic paper challenge,

I thought I'd do another Christmas card!  My Detailed Deer dies have not seen the light of day for months, so I thought I'd feature this beautiful leaping deer from the set:

I actually used all the squares in the grid, how about that!  This was really a simple card to create; I diecut the deer from Silver foil and mounted it on some red plaid DSP.  I did add a mat of Silver foil as well (if you cut out the inside portion of the mat, which doesn't show under the plaid paper, you can save that piece for another use!) and mounted it on a square card base.

The peace sentiment was heat embossed in silver and diecut with a Stitched Rectangle die, through which I added some narrow silver ribbon:

And I stamped some additional silver snowflakes among my Real Red sentiment on the inside!

I love how this turned out and I'll put it in my stash of Christmas cards for December!  Now, what will you create with our Tic-Tac-Toe grid?  Share it at the challenge blog, can't wait to see what you create!

TTTC92 Glittery Snowman

Hi peeps!  Hope your Thanksgiving is going well!  Time for a new Tic Tac Toe challenge with Team X:

I chose the top row across of Stitching, Ombre and Sparkle Glitter, but I also used the middle row down of Tag and Metallic as well!  So here we go:

I've got a lot of sparkle going on here!  I diecut a tag (which is stitched, but it's hard to see) from SU's Rainbow Glimmer paper, then cut a stitched snowman and stitched snowbank with some retired Sparkle Glimmer paper as well.  The tag has some metallic ribbon, and his scarf, nose and eyes are also glimmer paper, and the background paper has metallic accents on all the little designs!

The snowman hugs sentiment is from an old Whippersnapper set, stamped in Tempting Turquoise; the Let it Snow is from SU's Snow Place, stamped in Magenta Madness and cut with a banner die:

Although there are lots of parts to the card, it went together surprisingly quickly and I love the final outcome!  And since there is so much "snow" on here, I am entering it at Shopping Our Stash for their snowy  challenge this week!

I hope you'll play Tic Tac Toe with us and share your creation with us too!  If you have any questions about the "ingredients", let me know!!  Thanks for popping by and have a blessed day!

TTTC88 Hello Fall

Hi peeps!  It's Team X's turn to share their Tic Tac Toe challenge cards today!  Here's our fun grid:

I've got almost all the squares covered, except for the wreath!  Here we go:

I started out with this beautiful paper from Photoplay and I wanted to use as much of it as I could in order to get all those pretty images and sentiments in, so my card is larger than normal; it measures
6 1/4" x 4 1/2".  Isn't it sweet? But guess what...no stamping!!

My focal piece is an acorn using a die from Spellbinders Small Die of the Month club from 2018.  I experimented with several different color combinations before I finally decided on Soft Suede for the cap, Cajun Craze for the acorn front and some polka-dotted papers for the background:

I did a little sponging on the cap and added some Linen braid, and it was done!  Simple and easy!  And since I was experimenting with different colors for my acorn, I took one of the "unused" ones and made another card with it:

Bright and cheerful in Pumpkin Pie and Bumblebee!!

What will you make with our tic-tac-toe grid this week?  Can't wait to see what you create!  Check out all the samples at the Tic-Tac-Toe blog and share yours with us too!

How about some Jameson and Sawyer pix?  They're getting so big! And not ornery at all!

So happy you popped in today--enjoy it and be blessed!

TTTC82 Fall Apples

Hi peeps!  Back today with another challenge---the Tic Tac Toe challenge!  It's Team X's turn to inspire you with this grid:

Image may contain: text that says 'Tic Tac Toe Challeng No: 082 #tttc082 Trees Apples Layers Embossing Shades of Red Swirls Die Cuts Add a Sentiment Kraft tictactoechallenge.com'

I chose the center column of apples, shades of red, and a sentiment!  It gave me a chance to use some "vintage" Papertrey paper and a Lawn Fawn apple die that has never been used, I am embarrassed to admit!  So here we go:

It also uses the Fab Friday sketch:

I mounted my apple paper on a mat of Poppy Parade, and diecut my apple die with some Real Red cardstock.  I diecut another one from Whisper White and trimmed it down, and added a Kiwi Kiss leaf and colored stem:

I stamped the seeds from an apple set from PTI, as well as the sentiment (Wreath for All Seasons), then embossed the sentiment banner for fun!  And here's the inside, with a stamped apple and a sentiment from All Thinks Fabulous:

All those cute apples just make me happy---and they make me want to go eat a nice, crisp one!  I hope you're inspired by our grid this week...be sure to stop by the TTT blog and see what the designers created, then share your creation with us too! Thanks for visiting today--enjoy it and be blessed!

TTTC76 Vintage Ephemera

Hi peeps, thanks for stopping by again today....this time for the latest Tic Tac Toe challenge!!  Here's our grid for this week from Team X:

Image may contain: text that says 'Tic Tac Toe Challeng No: 076 #tttc076 Smile Number Animal Alphabet Square Embossing Primary Color Crayon/ Pencil Glitter/ Glimmer- Paper ictactoechallenge.co'

and I chose the middle row down: number, square and pencil because I LOVE this stamp featuring a  row of vintage pencils!!!  Check it out:

AND, I love this row of vintage numbers too!  I stamped these in Early Espresso on an old piece of SU DSP, and the sentiment on a piece of Bumblebee DSP, cut out with a Tasteful Label die:

The pencils were stamped, colored with markers and fussy cut and then both strips were adhered to a piece of Echo Park paper called This and That:

Since it is a masculine birthday card, the only other embellishment that I added was two "stitched lines embossed on the left and top edges....I really like that effect!  Both sentiments are from Unity; here's the one stamped on the inside of the Bermuda Bay square card:

And since it was a large card, I also made my own envelope for it using SU's retired Punch Board!  I hope you'll play along with our Tic Tac Toe challenge this week...it's a great one for kids going back to school...in real time or virtually!  Let them know you're thinking of them!  And thanks for popping in today!

Tic Tac Toe Challenge 074 Summer Fun

Hi stampers!  It's time for another Tic Tac Toe challenge with Team X's Joanne hosting!  Here is her grid for you to play with:

No photo description available.

Oh dear...when I saw her board, I was dismayed!  I had no hot air balloon stamps, no mountain stamps, no palm trees or tropical flowers....I know, crazy, right?!  But I did find some of those other elements in an  Echo Park Soak Up The Sun 6x6 pad!  These papers have gotten a LOT of use lately! I took one page and trimmed the elements to fit my card, and here we go:

So I was aiming for the center row across of hot air balloon, yellow and beach!  Luckily, there was a hot air balloon on one of the pages, and I added a sentiment from Happiest Birthday Ever, stamped in Bumblebee

The other elements were beachy enough...flip flops, bathing suitf, sailboat and ice cream:

I embellished my layout with some new Blue Gems from the upcoming catalog...very blingy and fun!

So I hope you'll play along with our Tic Tac Toe grid this week and be sure to stop by to see what the DT created....there are some stunning creations there!  Thanks for popping in today--enjoy your day and be blessed!
