More Christmas Stamp Camp Projects

Hi peeps!  Another quick post; these are the other two projects we did at my Christmas card stamp camp:

These little ornaments are Lawn Fawn dies I've had for years and I think this is the first time I've used them!  They "hang" on branches from the retired Christmas Pines set, and the sentiment is from Good Greetings, also retired. They all have some glittery doodads on them as well!

This one uses a retired set called To You & Yours, stamped in Misty Moonlight, and it's mounted on a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock diecut with the retired Card Front Builder die.  We added an accent of silver More Dazzle paper; it's simply a Stitched So Sweetly diecut, cut in half.

Thanks for popping in today--enjoy it and be blessed!

Love must be completely sincere.  Hate what is evil, hold on to what is good.  Love one another warmly as Christians, and be eager to show respect for one another.  Work hard and do not be lazy.  Serve the Lord with a heart full of devotion.  Let your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times.  Share your belongings with your needy fellow Christians, and open your homes to strangers.  Romans 12:9-13

Club Projects

Hello stampers, happy Tuesday! I didn't have time to stamp yesterday, so I thought I'd share a couple of the projects my stampers made last night at my last "Christmas In" stamp camp:

The above one uses some retired SU papers along with an embossing folder from Tim Holtz, all on a  Call Me Clover card base.  It was embellished with some glimmer paper stars....easy and fun!

This one uses a stamp from Stampendous called Christmas Background.  It was stamped in Cherry Cobbler and sponged with Crumb Cake to give it an aged look.  A little pinecone and evergreen sprig embellished it, along with a Sweet Sorbet ribbon, which looked better in real life than it does here, although it definitely does has a pink tinge to it!

I'll be back tomorrow with two more!  And on a funny note, when we were at the wee little Cookie Cottage, we were asked to put our names in a hat for a drawing.  John had already gone back outside, but the proprietor told me to put his name in also.  So imagine his surprise on Monday morning when she called John and told him he won a dozen springerle cookies!  He didn't even know he entered!  So we'll be getting twelve of those pretty little treats!

Thanks for visiting today, enjoy it and be blessed!

Stamp Camp Projects

Hey peeps! I haven't stamped anything in a couple of days, but thought I would share a couple of the projects we made at my recent Christmas card stamp camp!  Here we go:

This card uses a Crumb Cake base, embossed with SU's new Snowflake Sky embossing folder, along with the retired Sleigh Ride dies, and some Poppystamp deer in Cherry Cobbler.  Both sentiments, outside and in, are from the retired Shine Bright stamp set.

This card features a gorgeous holly image from Simon Says Stamp (Joy to You & Yours), stamped in Garden Green on Garden Green cardstock.  A scrap of striped paper and some adhesive glitter ribbon from Close to My Heart provided an accent, and a sentiment from the same set was diecut with the retired Ornate Frames dies.  We added some ribbon and sequins too!

The inside sentiment was from the retired Wrapped in Christmas:

And I have said it before, but my customers are just the best!  My friend Kathy brought these for me, John & Cassidy, made with the Tricks and Treats bundle and Them Bones DSPs:

I apologize, as the lighting is not very good, but aren't they adorable?!  So cute and clever! And I have been good, haven't ravaged the candy inside yet, LOL!  Thanks for visiting today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

Stamp Camp Fall Projects

Happy Friday, peeps! Hope you have a great weekend planned!  Keeping my fingers crossed that we don't have rain on Saturday, as it's our Harvest Party at church!  Don't want our bonfire to get drenched!  Here are a couple more projects from my stamp camp; these were two of the fall cards we made:

These both used some beautiful embossing folders, sentiments from Paper Tray and various dies from SU and Lawn Fawn.  These may just have been my favorites!

Again, if you have any questions, shoot me an email (and include your email as well so I can answer!).  Thanks for visiting today--enjoy it and be blessed!

Stamp Camp Halloween Projects

Happy Thursday, peeps! I have a very busy couple of days coming up so I thought I'd just share a few projects that we made at my recent stamp camp!  The theme was Halloween, Thanksgiving and fall, and today I'll share the Halloween ones!  Here we go:

This Trick or Treat one uses lots of punches and dies with papers from Honey Bee's Harvest line.  The sentiment is from an old Recollections set and the dies are from Impression Obsession.

The silhouette one uses an image from 100 Proof Press and another Recollections sentiment, along with some papers from Close to My Heart.  I just love this vintage image!  (Measurements for the panels are:  Pumpkin Pie 2 1/2" x 5 1/2"; star and plaid papers 1" x 3"; white circle 1 1/4"; black circle 1 3/8".)

If you need any more information, just shoot me an email!  Thanks for visiting today--enjoy it and be blessed!

Stamp Camp Projects

Hi everyone!  Hope you had a great weekend!  I promised to show you the projects we did at my stamp camp; here are two of them!  This is what I call a "skinny mini" treat holder; I got the idea from Sam Donald, better known as Pootles!  She has the greatest ideas!  Her sample is longer, but I cut mine down to 6" long.  You can see her directions here!

I used Cucumber Crush In Color DSP and a sentiment from Little Cuties!  Next is a mini egg carton (which are still on backorder, unfortunately), decorated with the Basket Bunch stamp set:

Thanks for popping in today and be sure to come back tomorrow for a new Stamp Ink Paper challenge!

A little sidewalk chalk action....hard to tell, but it was a fishbowl, complete with a little archway for the fish to swim through!  She actually does have a fish, too!  His name is Gilly!

Be blessed!

And we didn’t make this one, but I was playing around with the new Snow Burst embossing folder and the Snow Much Fun set and made a little 3x3 card:

I forgot to add my watermarks to these, sorry!  And my wee GD was feeling much better yesterday!

Christmas in July 2010

DSCF8603

Last night I had my first Christmas card stamp camp of 2010….it is hard to believe this is the fifth year for these camps!  16 dedicated stampers crammed together in my tiny house to make some simple Christmas cards.  Despite the heat and crowded conditions, they all seemed to enjoy themselves!  Here’s what they made:

We used an assortment of new as well as retired SU sets—if you have any questions about what was used, shoot me an email.  I am gearing up for VBS next week, so my posts will be short & sweet, if any at all!  And the week after that, we’ll begin holding our breath for the arrival of our granddaughter---but you know how that goes!  It may be a couple more weeks, but I hope she doesn’t make us wait too long!

Stamp Camp Projects

No stamping for me today, as I am leaving for a Women’s Retreat at Harvey Cedars in New Jersey.  I thought I would quickly share the projects we made at my Stamp Camp on Wednesday.  The girls seemed to have a lovely time, and I met a new friend, Jennifer, who really made the evening fun!  We did two simple cards and two “stepped-up” cards:

This card was inspired by this card by Crystal; I just changed it a tiny bit:

A card using retiring colors and a set from the retiring mini:

A card using the Jumbo Bird Punch and Sweet Pea DP:

And another using I {Heart} Hearts and Sweet Pea DP:

At the time I designed these, the Sweet Pea paper was still available! Now it’s gone!!  I hope these inspire you to go make some cards!  Enjoy your day!

A Bucket Full of Cards

My two stamp campers today made this cute project:

using a pattern from the uber-talented Mel; you can find it here.   The purse is made from Bermuda Bay cardstock, stamped in BB with Vintage Vogue.  For the inside, we stamped six 3x3” cards:

Bucket Bag Baby

Bucket Bag Birthday

Bucket Bag Easter

Bucket Bag Get Well

Bucket Bag Love

Bucket Bag Thank You

And here are my two stampers, busily creating:
