HULLO NOT-A-BEARS!
We get lots ov Blackbirds in our garden. They ar eezy to spot coz they ar blak an berds. Sept for the laydy wuns, wich ar brown.
Heer's a Blackbird. As yu can see, he is a blak blackbird, so he is a boy.
-We took that foto on a cold mornin an yu can see the grarss is frosty. Frosty grarss is fun cos it crunches wen yu walk on it, like wen Daddy eets seerial for brekfust. Yu can also see ice in this pikcher, wich Mummy took off the dish befor puttin new warter in. Sum ov the ice she took off jus befor we took the pikcher, but sum ov it iz from the day befor, an it haddent been warm enuff to melt.
WELL! The other day we sor a laydy Blackbird (that's a brown Blackbird, rite?) pikkin up moss an stiks an stuff an flew into a tree neer our howse. "HULLO!" I thort, "I wonder if she is maykin a nest?" an Mummy had a look but dident find enything. But today, wen she waz bizzy I got up in the tree to hav a look myself!
Heer's me an the tree. Look how close to the bak ov the howse it is! The laydy Blackbird mus reelly like us!
This is me poyntin to the bit ov the tree whare the nest is. That issent red string, it's red pen. I drew it on the pikcher arfterwerds:It's well hiddon an yu carnt tell from the owtside that thare is a nest inside. I climed in the tree an this is how I fownd it! Good job I'm a spy or I never wud hav spottid it thare! (That's how Mummy mist it!) Heer is the nest inside the tree-
The laydy Blackbird hasent got eny eggs yet. I shall keep an eye on things for her. Me an Dilly ar goin to gard the tree in cayse eny big bully berds, like jackdaws or magpies com an try to eet the eggs or the babys. I shall go "Hu-phwarr!" in a kararty chop an pertekt them.
It is very Easterry to find a nest.
Do yu hav eny sines ov spring or Eeaster whare yu liv?
Bye fer now!
